One of the many things which don't make sense to me is why the covenant don't have shielded vehicles. They have shield generators that can fit inside an elites armor, they have shields which can from a solid free standing barrier, and they have shields which actually come about a meter away from the protected surface. Yet, for some strange reason, they didn't shove one of the many varients in their wraiths, ghosts, scarabs, shadows, phantoms, or banshees. I don't know about you, but that doesn't make much sense to me.
For those of you that argue that the boosted gravity perpulsion system takes up to much room for a shield generator... A ghost has a one of those, and we all now how small a ghost is. Add a weapons system and a speed boost, that doesn't leave much room.
Storyline wise, this would also make sense. Logically on an enemys home world, you can expect the fircest and most tenacious resistance. To counter this, they would pull something strange and unexpected out of the box, sheilded vehicles. Also, the elites have shields, and don't need the extra shielding power that a vehicles shield generator would afford. The brutes don't have sheild generators, and it would make sense that the Prophets, in order to prepare for the civil war, would have ordered some such projects cooked up on the back burner, making sure that they would win. Makes tactical sense to me.
I can't think of anything else right now. If you reply, you guys might jog my memory.
