Last night I got on a server where everyone was green. No blue no red. The friendly indicator was used so you could tell friend from foe, (though if you're standing too close, the indicator is not in your field of vision).

There's no advantage where some colors blend in better in some maps. At times it's hard to tell who's who.

I'd like to see it used in the Maw server, with a long betrayal penalty, so people have to be careful. Keeps you on your toes.

Yeah I'm glad you like it. Thought about doing this for a while but finally got a free weekend to implement it. Nice suggestion on friendly fire but its not going to happen. If at all anything maybe we'll allow friendly shield only damage or explosive only. It's set to shield only damage on some of the maps but on some of the more crazier maps (i.e. Hangem High, Rat Race), to allow friendly fire would be virtually unplayable.

Actually, I was on again tonight and at least on gehryphobia, it seemed as if it had been ruined by putting in access to the top of the map.

I don't know if it was that way last night, but people were not going up top– just the color change and a few new locations for OS, etc.

What I hate about most mods is TPs to every knook and cranny and 5 vehicles for every player.

My favorite mod on Halo PC was the A.I Blood Gulch. All weapons were modded as well as vehicles.

The access to the top has been removed as well as host of other "problems". The TPs for the most part have been removed if they are not obvious which gives unfair advantage. It was accidentally left in there from the last revision. We're trying a few variations of each map to see what works. A complete overhaul was done to all the modes with different configurations (i.e. like 3-4 different settings for each map with # many vehicles or this type of starting weapon). Still, I think we'll need to remove some modes and maps out of rotation to include only the best possible gameplay yet still offer something different.
