Subject: What is the Final Verdict on Desktop/Wallpaper threads?

I am very confused at how Ninjas handle Desktop threads. There are some cases where a Ninja will lock the thread before it even reaches ten replies. Yet I have seen some Ninjas post around The Flood while there is a Desktop thread with a good 100 replies. Do some Ninjas have a more strict rule on Desktop threads than others?

Probably.

Also, some of those threads may have some sort of discussion value, while some are just "Post your desktop"

Right now is a perfect example. Recon is posting on The Flood but he doesn't seem to pay the Desktop thread little heed. However, according to TU, they must be locked on sight.

TU bans faster, I ban HARDER.

Ask your mom which is better.

Recon was getting moms when bobcast still had similac on his breath.

Also there are times where I've seen those threads go for awhile. It's not pressing. I'm not like, "STOP -blam!- EVERYTHING THERE'S A DESKTOP THREAD."

I'm like "oh, desktop thread" clickty click click, typety type type. And I move on. A one night stand, if you will.
