Hey guys. After playing PDZ, I thought that it might be a good idea for Halo 3 to include an Onslaught multiplayer gametype. For those who do not know what it is, it is a gametype where there are attackers and defenders. Defenders are confined to a small area, while attackers are not. The attackers spawn with one stanndard weapon, and they are typically weaker than the defenders. The defenders have the option of purchasing weapons at the start of the game, in addition to many other upgrades. The defenders have only one life, but the attackers spawn infinitely. The goal of the game is for the attackers to kill all the defenders before the round ends, while the defenders try to outlast the round. The longer you survive, the more money you earn for the next round. After the round is over, the teams switch. The game ends when one team reaches a predetermined total time for all rounds.

So, thats Onslaught. I personally think it is an awesome game type. Wut do you guys think? Should it be in Halo 3?

i dont like taking gametypes from other games and throwing on a halo skin, but onslaught was fun. maybe, instead of having straight onslaught, make it the second half of an assault game?

i.e. point is to arm a bomb/ download data from a computer and one team has to infiltrate the base, kill all occupants and then hold off the other team for a few minutes

(when all occupants were killed, the two teams spawns would be reset to opposite locations(one in the base gos outside and vis versa))
