I acknowledge my user name is stupid. However, I promise I'm not.

Disclaimer: The latter is a lie.

True Underdog was, and still is, a complete and utter bimbo.

I remember when the last batch of mods were introduced. A few were my friends. It was fun seeing them get the opportunity.

I like to imagine we're all like cookies, being baked in an oven. One day we'll be finished, and B.net eats some and turns them into mods. At least, that's the image i got when i referred to it as a 'batch' of mods.

Can't say I follow your analogy all the way...

You don't want to know.

I kid. Reminds me of the threads that were posted when the new moderators were selected. I'd say they are mostly the same as they were before they became mods. Well, maybe not Butane. >.>

And if you want to go way back, still have the thread saved when Recon and Chris were made mods. Still awesome to go back and read through them every once in a while.

Good heavens that was a long time ago (and my account from that timeline has a time lock on it so anything I posted is invisible).

I thought that's what happened, and it explains why I sometimes see quotes or mentions of you as "Recon Number 59" from older threads.

There's still one question I've never figured out. Is stosh a Bungie employee or just a great go-to guy who helped with Bnet?

Fan - fan with connections - moderator - contractor - employee

And never once did he change his stoshish persona. He has consistently remained stoshlike.

I came for Halo, but I heard the Tru7h, fought thru Carnage, and stayed for Bungie.

They were once members. Great Kings of members. Then Achronos the Overlord gave to them the Banhammers of power. Blinded by their need to banish people from the forums, they took them without question.

One by one, they fell into darkness and now they're slaves to His will. They are the Ninjas, Forum wraiths. Neither living nor dead. At all times, they feel the presence of the the spammers, the trolls. Drawn to the power of being able to cast you out of the mains, they will never stop hunting you.

Hold your ground, hold your ground! Sons of the Flood, of the Seventh Column, my brothers! I see in your eyes the same fear that would take the heart of me. A day may come when the courage of Users fails, when we forsake our friends and break all bonds of fellowship, but it is not this day. An hour of woes and shattered keyboards, when the age of Bungie comes crashing down! But it is not this day! This day we fight! By all that you hold dear on this good Internet, I bid you *stand, Users of Bnet!*

Huh. So why do people Blame him? I suppose he's a coder but I don't know. It seems to me like it's an inside joke.

A long time ago stosh may've been working on the Bnet site coding and could've screwed up a line of code that set the company back. That may be why we 'blame stosh.'

No, I meant that they didn't exist as people. I know I sound silly, but I always liked to think that Achronos just willed the people who use the moderator accounts to exist.

I broke one of the cords for my X11s because I couldn't get past the final American course in Doritos Crash Course.

I imagine they were a bit more opinionated, I bet some of the mods would like to post things a bit less politically correct from time to time.
