OP - You're a dumbass with the reading comprehension skills of a second grader.

Can someone tell me what's wrong with these two, this made me LOL hard.

Unrelated, but also on the list - sarcasm tags.

I came for Halo, but I heard the Tru7h, fought thru Carnage, and stayed for Bungie.

Turn the text salmon, to show how seriously you're supposed to take it.

I would prefer strikethrough or reverse-italic. Highlighting could also work (Though I feel that would be how spoiler tags would work).

Only way it could work is if you had a voice actor create an audio file that reads it aloud for you. Sarcasm over the internet doesn't always relay right. Only having it read would work.

But which voice actor would be up to the task? Maybe we could select which voice actor reads it for us in our profile options?

I suggest a picture before the sarcasm. Something like sardines being dumped into a chasm.

Reverse bold italics but that's been mentioned already.
This has also been mentioned but, colored text comes to mind the only problem is, I can see people posting in [sarcasm][/sarcasm] just to have colored text. If that is implement maybe the ninja could give people normal bans as well as [Sarcasm] bans. That could be annoying for the ninjas though.

The only correct answer is Jeff Steitzer.

Im not sure what it's called, but when you hover over a link a white box will appear with the URL, the same happens with some pictures. Have the text be underlined but then when you hover over it, have one of those white boxes pop up that has a winky face or just says sarcasm.

This is the way the world ends,
This is the way the world ends,
This is the way the world ends;
Not with a bang but a whimper.

My only concern with this feature is that it would add another possible infraction. For example, currently, there is no penalty for letting something slip about the new batman movie or the Halo campaign, but it is possible that with the implementation of spoiler tags, people could get banned for mentioning or perhaps even alluding to some part of a plot. It would certainly not be a black or white line like "Do not bypass the profanity filter." One moderator could let something slide while another could permaban you for saying "Bane the bug guy."

Multi-trillionaire modern cowboy.

That's right.

I'd like this too. I'm all pro-not watching trailers and stuff, but it's rather hard not to know there's a LMG in Halo 4, you know?

Interesting link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sarcasm#Sarcasm_punctuation

I don't know, I'm thinking something that makes the text look sketchy or untrustworthy somehow... hmm... how about underlining the text with the /\/\/\/\/ look that spellcheck gives you when you wrote something wrong?

The real pressing question is if sarcasm tags are implemented, will people posting sarcastically without the tags be banned for misleading other users?

I'm sure the moderators will do their job exactly the same; there is no generally known and accepted form for notating sarcasm in text.

I'd assume it'd be the same as if someone made their whole post a link to a blank page just to have blue text, wouldn't you think? Though this starts to get into people's intentions - something the sarcasm tag is supposed to fix - about whether or not they were being sarcastic. Because, unless it's blatantly obvious, it's hard to argue with someone about what they're intentions were when it comes to something like this.

I ended up rambling but my main point is in my first sentence.

Simpsons did it!

Colored text would be the most useful, but then people would use it for the wrong reasons. Maybe a slightly darker shade of gray text?

This world wants to drag you down... And the weight, that guilt they want to hang around your neck, you don’t have to carry it one more step. You think they won’t let you rest, but it’s not up to them. It never was.

[spoiler] text [/spoiler]
[sarcasm] reverse italics [/sarcasm]
[st] strike-through text [/st]

These need to happen.
