No ghost chase for the star map and date here.
I don't get it >_>

I'm referring to sonic john's thread that's all about trying to converge the star map into the possible landscape of destiny.
See for yourself.

This isnt the first time Bungie has gone dark on their next game.

This just is the first time in a while we have had to guess what their next game will be, because it isnt obvious.

There may not be a "I" in team, but there is a "I" in Win.

Microsoft has no authority over Bungie

TL;DR at bottom, half as long as post so un-laziness yourself and read the whole thing.

It's highly unlikely but quite possible. I don't know how you feel, but I believe Reach was rushed, as in they wanted out of the Microsoft contract. Therefore I also believe a lot of people still think Halo was only great under Bungie. So therefore even if they are Halo fans, it would be easy to think they would holdout for Destiny or whatever its called before buying Halo 4. Being as it may, if Microsoft made Bungie wait until Halo 4s release it would be profiting them. Not to mention Halo series has made Microsoft the most money besides CoD, or more maybe/some other games made more possibly I don't have any info on that. Another thing, Halo is one of Microsoft's main keys in the "console wars" being that Halo is only for Xbox, and having Halo was one of the reasons I bought a 360.

TL;DR Probably isn't true but could be. Quit being lazy and read the text. And, from the quote...Microsoft has authority over every game developer for having that game on 360, the 360 release date, 360 mapping for console/controller, etc... Sony has all the same authorities, not exactly a authority though.

How would that effect games that get published on multiple platforms? I know about platform restricted characters(street fighter X tekken for instance).

Next to that I think CoD might have generated more money the last few years. Sure halo is a big name for their console but CoD is distributed over multiple platforms plus its pretty much a run and gun game that can hand out more winning moments to player due to its mechanics. (Please this is not meant as starter for some Cod vs Halo flamewar)

Don't mean to bash on you cause you stated that you don't have acces to the figures to support some of the statements.

Hey I am a big Bungie fan ever since I played Halo 2. I love the series, I love Bungie. I have made a few Bungie logos in my metal shop.

Thanks Ken for the nice words
