I like Cheese

Hello, Bungie.net users and moderators.
After my last thread about adding a spoiler to Bungie.net.
I've came up with several ways to improve Bungie.net for Mods, and users alike.
First suggestion
As I already seggusted, adding a spoiler to Bungie.net would be helpful, a great example can be found on 4Chan's /v/ board where the format is
<insert text here>
shows a black line, and when the mouse hovers over the black line, the text is shown at white.
Second suggestion
I would like to not be restricted to Bungie's home made avatars, I think there should be variety of rules regarding it, such as the size of the image, the dimension(I honestly think 182 on 182 is perfect, this is the dimension that custom Steam avatars use.)
Of course, the size of the image would be larger then 1MB(as the small size).

Third suggestion
Implanting a Notification system when a user quoted your post on a thread, and clicking the notification and it would link you straight into the thread and the post.

Feel free to add more!

Owning Noobs Since 05

I think we'll have spoilers on Bungie.next. As for custom avatars I doubt it.

The lack of custom avatars and smilies is by design. The first is because we don't feel like managing the Internet's collective perversions (or dealing with issues of hosting images that we don't own). Smilies are just stupid looking - cluttering up the actual content. Same goes for signatures. They just clutter up the page - if someone wants info about you, they can click through to your profile. Most users won't, because, well, they don't care.

While there are a few features that we probably do need to add, they're mostly in the realm of sorts/searching. You know, useful stuff, not silly stuff like smilies.

Nope. There is zero positive gain from that. Not only will some of you think it would be funny to put obscene stuff or stuff that you don't own in there, but the performance implications of allowing our forums to load outside images is just annoying to think about.

You know what I mean, I'm perfering to the picture next to our name. Will we ever or is Bungie scared some people might put some inmature stuff as their avater? I think it might be due to all the little kids having unright stuff as their avater.

Thank you for clearing that up!
