Subject: Gold septagons

Lurking since 2009

Why is there a lack of the in the flood? There are always multiple threads with employee comments in the community forum but in the flood its usually bare.
Corgi is the exception which makes him the only flood-going employee to my knowledge. In short, deej y u no love flud?

Butter my ass, turn around, spread open my butt cheeks, and say "Right here mutha-blam!-a!!"

Join Planetary Annihilation and Speed Haven

Because they post about as much here as there (I believe). There are just far more member posts in the Flood so they get drowned out.

Why not stop by my File Share while you're here?

Only regret is I didn't play more of it.

If you haven't noticed by now, I'm sort of a jerk.

Giving their cookie-cutter response, and you actually believe it?

Break down, every single one of you.

Ninjas, by nature, are far more invested in the community of bungie.net than most other members. Therefore, they are most likely to be found in the thread that deals with the community of this site as a whole.

GOAT

It's true. Gold septagons in the Flood are about as rare as a hot topic in the Halo PC forum.

They actually exist

  • 08.28.2012 8:08 PM PDT

They probably just don't bother with the trivial discussion that usually takes place there. If one happens to see something they can help with they'll probably post, but for the most part I think they avoid the flood.

They'll go occasionally, but this forum's role primarily relates to the site itself; including feedback, new ideas/features etc - so it's only natural that members of the webteam may spend more time here than on other forums like The Flood.

Fair nuff, but it seems that only about half of the posts employees make are serious.

Oh yeah, since somebody does not believe what YOU believe; that makes us vapid...
I cannot grasp that what you call "Something happened to nothing, and that nothing became something, and it was smaller than than a period."

Because of the rarity of real discussion value.

Threads in the septagon don't get pushed to the second page as quick as the flood. Most of the Gold septagon threads have been here for a couple days now. It's not like all those threads got the gold septagon today.

The flood is filled with so much filth that even if employees posted there often, nobody would know because the thread would be pushed back by garbage threads. Don't get me wrong, we get garbage threads in the septagon, but its not as common as the flood.

Woah there, dont be judgeing like that

  • 08.28.2012 8:31 PM PDT

Employees generally only post where they are needed to, which is usually on community or universe forums, but no the flood.

I've seen employees post in teh flood on occasion. Like Verachi mentioned, the traffic in this forum is much slower and concentrated.

Its only second nature for employees to favor this forum due to its subject matter.

Really? I wouldn't say most of their posts were "needed." Some more than others, to be sure, but mostly they are just posting.

Bye.

DeeJ told me it's because there's a funny smell coming from The Flood that puts them off posting there.
