How old was he and how old is the one who lives now(possibly).

Also, do you thing that this forum will come back to life after the release of halo 4 and the new book.

A tosser is the same as a wanker. To toss oneself off is to fondle the trouser weasel.

He died at child birth... Nah I don't really know when the first one died, if he actually died.

I think Halo 4 may breathe some life back into this forum but I think it will only truly come back once we have some Destiny info.

We are all going to get banned aren't we?

The original Didact wasn't killed by Faber and Faber even implied he wouldn't kill him.

Bornstellar would be extremely young physically at his time of death since he was only 12 during the events of cryptum which take place towards the end of the 300 year war. Then again Cryptum seems to show that bornstellar is alive...

I think the novel threw out somewhere that Didact was around 25,000 years old. Around 5,000 if not 10,000 were spent in a cryptum.

what the?

He was 7-8 thousand years old and spent 1,000 years in the cryptum. The librarian is over 12,000 years old and said to be one of the oldest forerunners.

This man, this man right here put it so eloquently that I actually cancelled my own 2000+ word long post.
/slow clap for respect

:)
The person who said participating is important, not winning, obviously never won anything.

Didact is at least 9.000 years old. The Human-Forerunner War was 10.000 years by the events of Cryptum, and the Didact spent around 1.000 years in the Cryptum.
