Constant state of war, of one, with all.
What if Bungie split up the multiplayer gametypes to reflect the type of gamer? In PDZ you could pick between tactical and deathmatch types. Example: You go into multiplayer on the main screen and it gives you the option of Darkops and Deathmatch in PDZ. This would separate the people that like to run and gun and the people who like more of a thinking game.
I see alot of people say they only play Rumble Pit, Slayer, Team Slayer and the other variations. I assume that a the case where they like individual achievment. Maybe this locker room of gametypes can be called Battleground.
I also see alot of people that want to play Capture the Flag, Oddball, King of the Hill, Race are just a few examples. Maybe these are not the best examples, but you get the idea. Play as a team, communicate and make strategies. This camp could called ONI Ops.
Pros:
a. You separate the people that play the game into their play styles. I find two main play styles: Run and Guners and Strategists.
b. It wouldn't be hard to understand, I mean, there are two options.
Cons:
a. There will always be those people that are confused/ alienated by something like this.
NOTICE: For those of you who have played Perfect Dark Zero multiplayer, you will know what I am talking about. I am not suggesting a copy cat multiplayer, I am just using an idea and building.
