Hey Bungie. Lightning never strikes the same place twice.

Shows how many swirling vortexes you've dealt with before.

In the Halo 3 trailer if you look at the mysterious artifact then you can see lighting cleary striking the same place twice

Do a google search on how many times sky scrapers such as the empire state building get struck by lightning.

hey guess what, thats just a saying, actually for lightning to strike once, it has to have struck there right befor, when lightning strikes, right before the actual lightning, there is a sort of smaller lightning, kind of like feelers to see if anything conducts electricicty, therefore, lightning has to strike 2 times

this, -----> . is a period. It is used to wrap up a sentance, indicate a pause, and is a vital part of written grammar.

And anyway, this has always been one of those myths that just confuses me as to how it got started in the first place. It's just completely nonsensical.

Lightning never strikes the same place twice.
Tell that to one of my high school's teachers. He's been struck 3 times... he's a place... at least technically.

1. Who said it was lightning? That is an awful big assumption, considering the nature of what is going on in that scene. Maybe it is, maybe it isn't... :)
2. Besides, lightning strikes in the same place all the time - simple physics explains that.

Wow I never thought one could learn so much from a game, and anyways who cares? no one is going to look at that much detail, and if they do I dont know what to say to them.

Lighting can strike in the same place twice, if the positrons and negatrons are the same after the lighting strikes.

In that whole trailer, the most important thing you noticed was the lightning?! You've got to be kidding.
