Subject: Can't play Reach matchmaking - Help please

I have moved in to my dorm at college and my roommate plays reach. I want to get back in to it now since Halo 4 is coming out and such. Anyways, whenever I try playing online, I connect to the game but it boots me out whenever it tries loading a map. When i check my network settings, it says my upstream bandwidth and packet loss ratio are undetected. My NAT is open.

My friend does not have this problem and we have the same internet. Also, I connect to every other game perfectly. I have tried playing 3 times in the last week, testing my connection and doing everything I can think of. It still does not work and I can't play Reach with my roommate.

If anything needs to be clarified please say. I hope somebody can help me.

Edit: I used to play this game earlier this year. Last time i played was last march. Hopefully it helps. Proof: My old gamertag was Cindereila Man.

I'm new to competitive Halo and Halo itself (Reach being my first video game ever actually). Message me if you want to play;

Reach: MLG, Arena, Doubles, BTB and customs.
Halo 3: Ranked MM and customs.

Also I have every Halo title and all of its DLC on the Xbox 360.

I'm no expert on these things but you might have a scratched disc...maybe....

I'm using my friends disc. We want to split screen on my TV because it's a widescreen. The disc works fine on his xbox.

Im currently installing the game to my HD.
