We are all going to get banned aren't we?

That has been up for at least 2 months now.

Really? You'd think that a almost 30 page preview would of been talked about. Kinda a let down the Brutes are the ones behind the attack.

It was obvious the brutes were behind it.

Yeah I guess. Still kinda disappointing.

I apologize, the preview itself has not been up. I already have an issue with the book because apparently brutes got the idea of catching your enemy off guard and using bombs from us. What? I am sure the elites used Bombs on the MAC stations in halo 2,they blew up their own ships in "The Package", and the Brutes were going to use nukes in GoO.

So i don't understand how brutes using bombs and brutish tactics instantly points to them "learning" that from us. That fits with their character perfectly. I will give her points on saying that not all brutes fought back and that majority of them just left though that falls in line with "stomping on the heels of a fuss".

Considering there is reason to believe she's never played Halo 2, read GoO or watched The Package it doesn't surprise me that she wouldn't know about these incidents.

It's like anything that doesn't fit in with the elites views is wrong therefore you must have learned it from a human. Humans don't even have that sort of attitude towards the elites and all she's just making the elites out to be hypocrites at this point.

So, Telcam is a man er Sangheili of honor, refusing to be discreet when confronting Arby?

he's more of a fool than I thought if he's going to take on my Arby. :P

Duh.

The lynch mob mentality suggests they aren't thinking straight anymore.

This man, this man right here put it so eloquently that I actually cancelled my own 2000+ word long post.

The person who said participating is important, not winning, obviously never won anything.

I'll check that out once I finish Glasslands.

Not this -blam!- again. That's Telcam's character, and the fact that he attributes vile acts to humans, directly or indirectly, tells us a great deal about his psychological make-up.

Just because you'd write as an omniscient God, who can see all through an unbiased telescope in the sky, it doesn't mean everyone else has to.

It being 'Telcam's opinion doesn't make it any more right however. The Brutes have been in the Covenant since 2492 and have had decades to show their brutish nature. They are the same race that engage in pack-based warfare and nuked themselves back to the a pre-Industrial state and also devour the corpses of their fallen foes.

To assume they learned about terrorism from humans is laughable naive and simply incorrect.

That is what im referring to and if you read on you will see that the topic of human stereotypes gets brought up later with admiral hood talking to the arbiter. So clearly it wasn't just Telcam's character but the elites as a whole have some viewpoint on us when we don't have such negatives views on them in that matter.

Erm... okay? The Sangheili don't like us, deal with it. Bare in mind we haven't seen any Sangheili yet aside from Thel who fought alongside humanity at the Battle of Installation 00 and other such bonding sessions.

You're clearly taking Traviss' depiction too personally. The humans in Halo are not 'us.' They're 26th century humans, different in culture and attitude. Don't get so defensive.

Just pointing out a pretty weird notion. We know the Brutes are...well Brutes. The Elites have known them longer than humanity. To imply that the Brutes just learned about terrorism because of the humans makes me raise an eyebrow.

And looking at your "Not this -blam!- again" outburst up top there, I wouldn't pass around the "Don't get so defensive" comment around. Just a little word of advice.

Extremists are rarely logical. ONI and Telcam are both extremists.

In all honesty i have no issue with Telcams actions because i can understand the point of view of his actions. It's his ignorant statements that annoy the hell out of me. As For ONI I understood destabilizing the elites but now they are just going too far and won't even finish the job.

Maggie needs to be enslaved just like halsey only she deserves it for such reckless conduct. She seriously sent the infinity to sanghelios just to test it out. That wasn't a smart move whatsoever seeing as most elites will probably see that power and instead of thinking of submission they will figure that they should fight.
