they should definetly have more human vehicles and one of them should be a plane or jet with rockets and a machine gun and can drop bombs.

Johnson: Marines im going for a walk what will you tell somebody if they come looking for me
Marines: That your on the Covenant Homeworld
wading through waist deep piles of Covenant dead as you unleash you ungodly fury on their poor souls
Johnson: Your Damn Right i am
We are . We are the Shadows. We are Ghosts. We Are the Mirratord.

For the Honor of the Mirratord

i agree with you on the plane thing but it has to be a HOVERCRAFT k.

The tank should of course have a top speed of at least the equivalent of the Wraiths boost or at least half of it.

(Frankly, the Halo series' MBT- the "Scorpion"- SUCKS. Modern tanks can hit forty-something miles per hour. The Scorpion's top speed is somewhere near twenty or twenty-five. Halo portrays the human tanks as being big lumbering beasts. But tanks stopped being that way in world war one. A tank, especially one as small as the Scorpion, should be nimble enough to move around sixty tons without being a sitting duck for the enemy. The Abrams is powered by jet turbines...so why does a tank 500 years in the future barely go faster than a toy scooter!?)

For Halo 3, Bungie needs to update the Scorpion and make it faster and more futuristic.
the books say spartans can run around 55 KPH the tanks aren't small(in halo 2, in halo they really are small) and they can go twice has fast has a spartan.

First off, kilometers per hour and miles per hour are very different. 55 KPH is about 22 mph. Secondly, any tank that only needs two people to operate is a very small tank, the Abrams has a four man crew, and the British MBT (sorry guys, don't know the name) also has a four man crew.

how about a rocket that you strap to your back. You boost off, flap your arms and are able to steer into things and expolde. Better yet, a cardboard box that you can hop in and run around alone or have a buddy jump in the back. you can run around making driving sounds, and point your fingers at things and pretend your shooting them.

The old WW2 b-2 bombers(or something like that) were crewed by 8 men but a new C-2 global master is crewed by 4 and its 5 times has big, think of a Spartan 2 meters tall right well how man spartans lengthwise is a scorpian, now how about an abram which is bigger

The WWII bomber you're thinking of is probably a B-17 or a B-24. The new cargo plane is a C-17 Globemaster III. And last but not least, I was supporting your original statement. Bungie needs to make the Scorpion hell on treads with a 180mm main gun and a co-axial .308 minigun.

The Scorpion needs work. It was great in Halo, but I don't like the Halo 2 version at all. It's too slow, the controls are borked, and the main gun does almost zero splash damage. Anyone with a rocket launcher or in a stationary turret will kill a Scorpion 95% of the time. No one fears it anymore. This must change.

I don't like Halo 2's Warthog either. It's too slow and the handling is boring. I much preferred the "fish tail" style of Halo's Hog (I would also like a Rocket Hog like in HaloPC).

These are the two vehicles that I feel were screwed up in the transition to Halo 2.

I must say that I really like the Wraith, though. I feel like Bungie really nailed the overall feel of this vehicle. The handling is good once you get used to it.

I also hope that Bungie makes some maps that lend themselves to large scale vehicle battles (like Sidewinder did). Coag and Blood Gulch were good, but Waterworks and Containment, while big, are too claustrophobic for good vehicle battles.

@Moderators:
If it's not classified, can you tell us if Bungie is addressing these vehicle issues? Any tidbits are appreciated.

you take the ATV and make it really fast. also put a passenger on the back sitting down facing the back. Then give the passenger a machine gun turret, however the turret would only be able to rotate about 160 degrees. It would be fast and be able to fight anyone following it, but it wouldn't be able to attack anyone in front of him. It would be comparable to the ghost.

Oh, and i'm sorry for any grammer or spelling mistakes. It was never really my strong suit in school.

I used to want Pelicans and Phantoms but now I dont, what I do want is a small longsword fighter,in other words,a human equivalent to the Banshee.Other than that,I like the vehicles already in Halo. But I would like when sum1 is driving a warthog or a spectre, they are able to use a pistol or some small weapon while driving.
