Has anyone read the halo graphic novel? That one female spartan who was testing Mark VI had retired to start a family, so we have some hope for chief having a good ending.

-Prior to the Fall of Reach, one of the SPARTAN-IIs had been wounded too critically to continue active duty. It is likely that this wounded SPARTAN was Maria, and that she did not participate in the Fall of Reach. If this is the case, it is possible that she attempted to live a normal life and start a family. It is likely that her wounds had healed sufficiently by that point for her to test the Mark VI MJOLNIR armor. It is also possible, given the seeming unlikelihood of a SPARTAN being allowed to retire, that she served with the Office of Naval Intelligence in some capacity following her alleged retirement.-

Maria.

Which doesn't make sense at all. Spartans are 7 feet tall. There is no way you adapt easily. That and all they know is the military. They have no idea how to behave like a civilian.

Has it happened? Yes. Should it have happened? No.

Then why was she testing the mark VI? I mean she was too wounded in order stay in the S-II program.

Nothing is wrong with it seeing as it is probably an experiment to see the social side of an SII. For all we know she was like Osman and had some rejected Augmentations that wouldn't allow her to be an actual spartan. Or she was a damaged one that was dropped.

Would you really waste the combat prowess of even a single Spartan just to run an experiment?

"Before this war is over, we're gonna need every single spartan in the fight."

Anyway you cut this, it doesn't make sense.

So, this in ONI. Remember? Parangosky apparently thinks S2's can reunite with their families and thus released their family files.

She also had S4's on Infinity but never used them in the battle of Earth.

Toward the "They are 7 feet tall, they wouldn't adapt!"...

Who said it would be or was easy?

I find this all a bit fishy. If a female spartan were to retire, life would definitely be difficult for her, especially her love life, which would be primarily due to her large size.

However, it is possible, and I still have hope for them! (Not really, they are Spartans, which go down in history as a militaristic nation who died out because of their failure to change.)

You can't say "waste" if you don't know what the experiment is or why she isn't out in the field. For all we know they could be trying to find out what the kids of a spartan would be like, which isn't a waste.

Spartans are 7 feet tall. Plenty of men are like 6'6 or romething. Not 40 times smaller lol

The average male is a little over 5'9 or so not 6 feet and up.
