I think that Halo 3 should have the option to have more than 16 people in a party at once, and to reduce the lag, there should be a connection limit to join a party. Suppose the connection bars have 8 bars now, then only people with 6,7, and 8 bars (green) could join these larger games, sound like a good idea?? THOUGHT SO!

Maybe instead, they could somehow share host between every player, eventhough I have no clue how do able that is.

You dont have any idea how bandwidth works do you? THE MORE PLAYER YOU PUT IN A GAME THE LAGGIER ITS GONNA BE. No matter what you do, it has to split the bandwidth up. The reason games such as Call of Duty (PC) and WoW can hold so many players is because of Dedicated Servers. Sorry to break it to you, but if Bungie doesnt get dedicated servers, it's not gonna work.

Level design can make 64 player games still feel like 4v4... look at Counter Strike Source, its fun with 4v4 and 32v32. As for the lag, personally I think Bungie has a -blam!- network coding, maybe its just cause the xbox is freaking outdated, 360 should solve that though.

Hated by many, confronted by none.
