(That's another thing; isn't one of the rings overrun with Flood?)
Yes. Installation 7, I believe.
You are correct sir (or miss), Installation 07 is the one completely over-run by the Flood and has been left to rot at the edges of the galaxy.
Actually, in the time span between Halo 2 and 3, a period of around 2 weeks, the seperatist Elites were busy glassing the ring and fighting the flood in space. It's how they got to Earth in 3, a lone ship broke through their lines and R'tas took a handful of ships to pursue it.
I knew all of that :/ I wasn't talking about Delta Halo from Halo 2 (Installation 05)...I was talking about the Halo Ring that the story takes place on in Primordium, which was described as being overrun by the Flood and a dead place, which the Forerunner fleet headed by Bornstellar left to rot there wherever it was when he and his army caught up to it... but yeah, I knew that the Elites glassed Delta Halo and had a quarantine blockade around the ring to try and keep the Flood contained.
Did you mean to quote someone else? >_>
