In Halo 1 & 2. After a player dies. That body it was possessing become hollow and more like a shadow. Immediately you can walk threw your enemy after killing them.

I would like to see bodies get in the way of things. To where they can fall and hit you. To give you the feel that it is a solid object. A real life form.

They kindof are. You can throw frags and they get stuck in bodies.

Every object in the game should have a solid feel to it. You can't just walk threw objects in life. So why should you be able to in games? It just doesn't feel right.

Do you know what I mean by hollow? Yes you can stick them with grenades. That is sticking to the outer part of the body/object.

ok erm this is kinda a dumb i dea whats the point in them taking up disk space with filling a body full of organs and other bits when u wont ever see them and the oter frame works just fine its liek says hey yeah theres loads of real bits in side but u will never see them.....

that's not the point, by hollow he means that you can put your foot through his stomach, bodies shoud pile up and make a small hill, not just become something facny on the ground

Yes! The body's could form a small hill if they were killed in the same area. Kind of like all the Agent Smiths gathering on top of Neo in Matrix Reloaded. They need more substance when they pass. Same thing with all the objects/items. A lot like vehicles when they get blow to bits. They still stack on one another.

In Halo 1 when a body flies through the air and hits a player in MP the player dies

Are you sure? In all my long years of playing halo 1 at lan parties, split screen, etc. this has never happened to me.

Maybe plants and natural objects can have more of a solid feel, but I think alot of bodies would just get in the way. Personally, I would rather be able to run around a kick ass than be stopped by bodies on the ground making me look at my feet as I run.

Yeah, but it's a big drain on the processor. I'd rather see them add more players in a game than add solid bodies.

In short, you want a better physics system. I suppose it would be achievable.
