There's no way Nate Hawbaker's favorite hero is Alan Stuart

Your voices will be crucial in that space,
Confirmed: Bungie's next game takes place in space. And there is sound. This means either the characters have made air... everywhere in space (oh God... the consequences... physics would crumble and burn and we would all die in a blaze of fire!), or they're taking the Star Wars approach and adding sounds just because it's cool. Or it's a Kinect game.

Discuss.

Confirmed: Bungie's next game to support voice chat.

...what's preventing DeeJ from picking up the mantle and starting to interview the members again?

Nothing. Well, nothing but darkness.

The thing that makes a gamer the most interesting is their relationship with the game they love to play. Right now, I am not supporting a game. I am supporting a community in waiting for a game.

Some day Soon(TM), we will invade a whole new universe together. Your voices will be crucial in that space, and I will amplify as many of them as I can. For the time being, we are keeping each other company in the waiting room.

So... What role will you have in this game?

Seeing as how I can't think of anything better that. I agree.

How exactly does not supporting a game mean you can't interview us?

It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who has given us the freedom to demonstrate. It is the soldier, not the lawyer, who has given us the right to a fair trial. And it is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves the flag, whose coffin is draped in the flag that allows the protester to burn the flag.Father Dennis Edward O'Brien, USMC

I move to add public support of Borderlands 2 to the official Bungie plank, until the darkness ends. Gearbox and Bungie have worked together before, and then you could talk to us about gaming again. Everyone wins :)

I'm clearly the most deserving of an Average Joe interview

I think DeeJ said he'd bring something along the lines of the Average Joe article back when the darkness is lifted. But with his own unique touch to it.

That sounds good.

LOL, OMG Burrito, you took that and ran in sprint mode, you're a natural for Fox News! :D

On a second note, I was not around for the Average Joe, but it sounds awesome, and I'm looking forward to Deej's interpretation of it with the new IP!

My future is certain, I will one day fly away. All because I am saved from the penalty of sin. I know he lives.

It is threads likes these that make me all warm an fuzzy inside. Just hearing from a Goldie makes me realize that they really do care. Even if all we get is Soon(TM), them repeating that word makes it seem not so far away.

I not forsure if the next title will be in space, but this darkness before the dawn sures feels like it.

We see a star a far off in the distance, we have started our voyage toward that glimmer of hope, but we don't know how far the trek is. We have been traveling for weeks, months, maybe even years (no one is sain enought to remember) and that pixel of white is still just a pixel that we saw many moons days ago. Surely to goodness that pixel will turn into nine soone or later.

OT> I don't really care for the average Joes, and DeeJ is right, about supporting a community in waiting. But he could do interviews with folks that are still buzzing around doing what they can to help the rest of cope.

If you were to be interviewed would you prefer it to be the inbetween games version or the hyped up version after the universe gets a sun or 3 to light up the world(s)? I'd want to be part of the post game show when there are thousands more members... but I'm an attention whore too.

Even if I were worth the time for an interview, I wouldn't mind either way. Somone has to do the dirty work. So being the subject of some reading material for everyone to cozy up during the darkness would be fine with me. Even if it ment missing out on multiple amounts of glory during the aftermath. I'm sure there are a few others that would sacrifice themselves for the good of the community.

It's like back in high school, I didn't mind being a lineman while the others got the glory of scoring TDs. I knew my place in the trenches and I did it well. Even if it ment not getting my name in the local paper. There are others like that on here, they may be few, but they are still here.

You imply a level of control over Halo: Reach matchmaking that we no longer have. Or, in your vernacular, it isn't our shiznit anymore.

Wasn't that the answer we concluded to the last time this thread came up? Something like, "All the cool people have already been interviewed."

I find Cosmos magazine to be mildly interesting, even though Carl Sagan has been gone for more than 3 years.
