Mourne not your comrades who must dwell / too strong to strive -
Within each steel-bound coffin of a cell, / Buried alive;
But rather mourne the apathetic throng / The cowed, and the meek -
Who see the world’s great anguish and its wrong / And dare not speak.

First off, this belongs in the Maw, since you are talking about Halo PC.

But I'm not really sure that anything can be done. All I can think of is to check around with local providers to see if they plan on coming to your area soon. But there could be someone else who could help you.

I understand that its pretty much all my internet thats doing it, but i can't get cable, i dont believe i can even get wireless. As much of you have allready guess im a country boy, i dont live in the city. Can someone plz reply back to my issue! I'am desperate to fix my problem.

Did you always lag? PC has a terrible netcode and all, but my friend has DSL and gets about the the same ping as me, so do you have dial-up?

Hm. I would check your connection for anything that might be clogging up bandwidth. Browser windows open at the same time, other programs, those could all take up precious bandwidth, especially from a resource hungry app like H1PC.

Also, try to check for spyware or adware, those are also pretty bandwidth-intensive as well. I suggest ad-aware if you don't have a current subscription to an anti-adware program. That should take care of most, if not all, spyware or adware on your computer, freeing up bandwidth.

And finally, look for the obvious. Email clients and other apps like MS Outlook (when it actually works properly :P ) Outlook Express, Steam, etc, etc all take up bandwidth. Make sure you exit them all completely.

this is the Maw......Duh-da-duhhhh

Be nice. If you've posted (which you obviously have) then you should see that the banner reads "The Underground" meaning that it used to be in that forum before being moved here.

Be nicer next time.
