Looks nice. But I don't think there should be two banshee spawns. Imagine if one team got a hold of all four...

Nice ideas, you should consider becoming a level designer.

Sounds like a good idea, just makes me think that the whole map will be too vehicle dominant.

Reminds me of Coldsnap though.

Still, don't you think that going in on foot will be not as usefull as it is now?

Nah, I don't think so, man. It is just as good as it is on foot, as it is in a vehicle, aside from speed diference.
Actualy, there are more ways to go on foot, than with vehicles. With the exception of the front door to the bases, and the power weapon spawns.

I see. The rocks and caves can give enough cover from vehicles. You just need to know which way to go for the situation.

Don’t get mad if I flame you because you cannot spell, or because my three year old has better grammar and etiquette than you.

I would say just add some rear fortifications, sorry I didnt peek at the images. I dont think going lower would really matter, but just more cover around the spawn areas, when both teams take the bases it sucks to be spawned outside and killed repeatedly when you can only get one ot two of the 4 guys shooting you.

Exactly. There is alot of shelter from vehicles (ans sniping) in that "back hall" too. And since there two-way, there (somewhat) easily accesible. And as you said, the rocks, and caves are good, too. Also, something i forgot to mention in it.. there might be fog around the trees area, for fun, and cover. So, from my personal point of view, there is plenty of cover.

What, open vents from the facilities/bases?

I don't think I quite understand what you mean..

I bolded some of the quote. I suggested that the fog came from open vents.

Sounds cool, you should try making the map in Halo Custom Edition.

You mean like turn the base into some sort of tower? It'd be cool to have each level down corresponding to larger and larger vehicles, i.e. the uppermost hangar is for the banshee, the one below it is for the pelican etc, etc until the bottom level, which would be like a large garage, holding all the ground vehicles.

It will be a dark day they if bungie decides to leave the pelican out of Halo 3.

You could ask for help on gearboxsoftware forums. You would need stuff like 3dmax, photoshop, the HEK kit and some more i think, though i don't know if it'll work on a Mac.

Very cool map. You should really consider making this in Custom Edition and/or getting a career as a map designer. I can see this was well thought out. And if every thread was like this we wouldn't have all of the useless threads that exist today. Good Job :-)
