Well, that has rarly happened to me, as a matter of fact, I have never ever ran into a person using the leet langauge like a mad man. Usually, most plays just say NS, or dam, but once in like a dozen games I hear Noob, sometimes I say it myself lol becasue they are newbs.

For example, today I was in KOF ALL gulch, I was AFK most of the time, so I got killed 14 times, So I came back and guess what came back to 2nd by the end of the game from the middle of it. Everyone was such unskilled, they were like super newbs, espically when I came back I saw them using 2 rocket hogs behind red base, with 4 guys there, 2 rockets, with 2 with snipers, I see that, I shoot both gunenrs in the head, with my sniper I shoot another guy in the head, this guy took cover, and I just popped two shoots when I could.
After that, I immediatly got over double the amount of deaths I had, I came in 2nd because my team were also like them, they were getting slaughtered too and let the other team score. I killed 5 people who had the flag in like 1 minute, ughhh. However there was like one good guy, called KOF marine, he was pretty good with the sniper.

Anyways, just pick good server, even with me owning them and them owning us, no one ever called anyone hackers or noobs. Also if you just want some fragging shotgun fun, go to the MGO1 Battle Creek server, its a pure Battle Creek server with CTF rotations with rocket starts, and in different rotations shotgun starts. Even wwith a whole 16 players and things exploding, theres absolutely no warping, just make sure you have a good framerate. Anyways, just pick out dedicated servers, there usually with the most players.

Well it's good I am not alone in this.

I used to have a great set of servers that always ran race, oddball, and then CTf, but since I didn't play in a while xfire cleared them... I've been trying to scout them out since but I have yet to find them. If anyone knows any good race servers tell me!

I feel sympathy for you. I usually have to hunt around for about 6-10 games to find one that suits me. And I'm not too picky either; I just want a server that is somewhat balanced (i.e. not modded to a point that gameplay absolutely sucks), isn't too laggy, and isn't all rocket launchers. I mean come on, it's fun for about ten minutes but then I've had enough all rocket gameplay to last me a lifetime.

And dude, that is probably one of the most ridiculous stories I've ever heard. Not because I don't believe you, but because it shows just how mentally disabled some people who have no skills are. Which makes it even funnier that you came back and destroyed them : D

Just a suggestion: I find the WnX--Garbage Can server to be quite good for people who like Slayer. However, a good CTF server can be harder to find. And race....I rarely play, so I can't help you out : (

Thanks I'll try it.

I think the fun of race is overshadowed by the fact that it truly requires some coordination between teammates, and there always has to be a good driver. There is nothing better than being the gunner on a good ol' hog while basically playing Mad Max with another two, and the both crash into eachother and go careening off a cliff on Deathisland, plummeting into the water below. Probably one of my favorite moments of race in all my time playing.

Two years ago it was full of cool people, now people have given their copy of Halo pc to their 7-10 year old bother or cousin, which makes Halo suck online because those kids have a.d.d. and drink to much mountain dew so they feel like everyone suck except them, but when they get killed they start the "aimbot, cheater, etc." I don't play online anymore.

rely one dedicated servers, my friend. the ones made in 5 seconds will lag uncontrollably(usually). also if you think about it, not experienceed players will make un-dedicated servers. the ones that make those are noobs or wondering what on earth a dedicated server is. just rely on that little piece of advice, and stay away from not dediacted servers.

although halo used to have alot of cool ppl, i still like the funny names the not cool ppl choose.
such as " my -blam!-" or "krotchstab" or " mom slayer"
they crac me up.

Yes, I am a hypocrite, and I'm sorry. I really do mean well, but I'm not running on all cylinders.

Everytime someone buys a copy of Halo 2 Vista, a puppy dies.

could u explain wat exactly a rock is and how he does wat he does?

A ROCK does the "serial teamkiller" thing. He kills 3 players then disconnects and quickly re-connects using the "direct IP" connection dialog in game. People that do it can totally repress their team for as long as they like. It wrecks the game. And it's growing in popularity. Good luck finding a time where a BUNGIE-CTF server doesn't have at least one of these malicious players, and one is usually all it takes.

There are a lot of Bungie servers, it would be incredibly difficult to find people who could moderate all of them 24/7. Not to mention you might just recruit someone who is actually going to aid the Tkers.
