Expressing my strong liberal views without shame. Favorite quotes below:
"Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the the universe."
"One starts to live when he can live outside himself."

In terms of the community, it isn't better or worse than the community on here was during Reach's "prime time." There were immature posts, flamers, trolls, and other posters who weren't "all there."
In terms of the format, Bnet wins very easily. Of course, it might be unfair to make this comparison because I've seen no other forums on the entire Internet that are as aesthetically pleasing and user-friendly as Bnet's.
My only real complaint is that the discussion that takes place there--especially in the Halo Universe forum--is often dull and pointless. The Bungie Universe forum still seems to be the best place to discuss Halo lore, with some exceptionally knowledgeable and interesting people (grey, DecepticonCobra, etc.) I feel like I learn more when I take part in the discussions there.
Someone said that you will get people disagreeing with you on Waypoint when it comes to canon even if they don't have the foundation to make criticisms of your knowledge or support. On B Universe, this isn't true.
