Don't judge a book by its cover, unless it has bacon on the cover, then it is a good book.

T4R. Do you guys still have your Salmon text and banning abilities or is that all stripped away and you guys become venerable targets for us regular community members?

and community if you have any experience with mods in your Group please feel free to share

Well, here we are. I guess that it was destined to come to this.

I am only in a few groups (mostly because I am a terrible group member) and in them, I get whatever security level the group admin assigns me. Though I do get a title bar... I don't even recall what color it is.

Yeppers. It's only salmon in "group 1".

interesting, but lets say you see something in a group that is extremely ban-able can you ban them for something they posted in a group.

I believe private groups are out of moderators' jurisdiction. Besides, many forum rules don't apply to private groups. Although, if it's bad enough (for example, if the group is used to plan spam attacks or to discuss illegal activity), any user could report the issue to an Administrator, such as Achronos or DeeJ, in which case, -blam!- will happen.

Correct. They are private property and while they still answer to our hosts, we ninja have jurisdiction in the public forums only. If we have moderator or admin rights within a group, we would enforce the rules of that group and (as every admin/moderator for a group should) the general and basic rules of the membership agreement.

Confirmed: High Fructose Corn Syrup does exist, and may be present in Destiny.

Makes me happy.

I know, right?
Jay acts like she's better than everyone else simply because she's a chick.
I hope she chokes to death.

We have a few mods in a group I'm in, and they just have the title bars of the rank they'd be if they weren't mods (I believe all of them are blue bars, can't think of one who isn't). While they can't ban anyone for stuff they do in the group, most groups that want to survive will strictly enforce the ToS so as not to put the group in danger of being nuked by Achronos.
