But all of the ideas threads in the "Threads of Interest" are filled with morons who don't know how to put some things together..so I decided to post it in the main forums, hopefully to get some of my ideas noticed by other members and getting some feedback.

===Rifles===

MA5B Assault Rifle
* increase damage done in H:CE slightly

These changes would make it more of a Halo Pistol, but instead of a 3sk, a 5sk (balance reasons)..that weapon ws great at most ranges too..we need something like this to get rid of Sniper campers..

* shoots cluster of needles into enemy. Same ROF as M90
* The needler shotty isn't meant to just be an counterpart to the shotgun, since we already have the Sword..but it could be a weapon used mainly on Covenant maps, or on Covenant vs. Human maps, just to add immersion..though the weapons are different enough to have different projectiles, and a different model.

Energy Sword
* Keep same
* (It won't be as "whoreable" if the weapons aren't weak like they were in Halo 2 duae to dual wielding)

Jackal Shield
* Not really a weapon here; it's a shield that can be held in your left or right hand, and a small weapon (normally dual wielded) can be dualed along with this, the same was a jackal does.

* When dualed, or used normally, you may melee, and it has a very strong melee (think brute shot) making up for it's inability to block the wielder from large weapons.

* It will have a charge, and needs to re-charge after an amount of time; isn't too strong; just gives the person an extra shield..think of it as an extra red shield (from an OS) but less effective..

* If it's shot, etc, the charge goes down quicker, till it finally depletes then you take all the rest of the bullets into your normal shield/armor. It would be able to be recharged, or takeen off your forearm and dropped.

* It will not be unusable after one person drops it (like the H:CE sword was) but it will be an infinite weapon (Like the H2 sword) but has a charge, needs to charge, and has a different use.

Flamethrower
* Continuous stream of ignited liquid napalm. ONLY highly effective
against an enemy with no shield
* This weapon works well against a shielded use, since High temperature seems to deplete shields quicker than projectiles..but unlike plasma, the flamethrower is also effective against an unshielded opponent.

Machete
* This weapon is a machete that is basically a last resort weapon, a Grunt killer (in campaign), or something that would kick ass for filming.
* Doesn't do too much against a Shielded opponent, but is highly effective against a non-shielded opponent
* The image of the machete that was going to be in Halo CE can be seen here.

NOT meant to be an equivalent to the sword, it's just a cool, unizue melee weapon that wouldn't really show up in Matchmaking, but could be put on the map fro Customs (and filming)

=Heavy Weapons=

SpnKr Rocket Launcher
* increase Rocket's speed, damage and blast radius
* Remove Aim Assist entirely
* Increase amt. of time between consecutive shots
* Increase reload time
* Increase time needed to lock on.

Brute shot
* Keep same, if we have dedicated servers, they will be useful

Fuel Rod Gun
* Holds (extra) 9 rounds + 3 in the barrel ready to fire upon picking it up for the first time
* Make it identical (sounds, look, arc, etc.) to the H:CE/H:PE FRG
* Damage done = Slightly less than a Rocket; more than a Brute shot's
* 3 round magazine.

Handheld Gauss Rail gun
* Same damage as a Warthog's Gauss gun.
* Limited ammo. 6 shots+4 in clip.
* Reload time = Rocket Reload time.
* Fairly accurate; no auto aim...think no scoping with a sniper.


==Smaller Arms=

Needler
* increase damage done slightly
* increase homing and range dramatically.

M6C Magnum
* 5 shot kill, less accurate, greater kick than in H2, same range.
* Recoil = .357 from Resident evil games.
* No scope on it.
* Only has 7 shots in the clip
* Dual Wield? No.

M6D Pistol
* 10 shot kill, more accurate than the one in H:CE. No scope.
* Dual Wield? Yes.

Why were the roles of Pistols and Magnums switched in the Halo Universe? in Halo 3, they should fix this.

The pistol is now a true siderm, but is still effective in the right hands.

The magnum now acts as a very powerful gun, like a magnum should. It has large slugs that it fires, so it's a 5sk..the increased round size has also limited the number of shots in the clip from 12 to 7. The recoil is also very high, reload times are longer, ROF is slower, and it is not dual wieldable.

Plasma Pistol
* Decrease homing dramatically, increase damage greatly,
as well as the speed of it's shots.
* It would be equivelant to the Plasma Pistol from H:CE
* Dual Wield? Yes.

Sentinal Beam
* Increase damage slightly, and add a bit more Aim Assist
* Give the Sentinal beam the "stun" (freeze) effect that the Plasma Weapons had in Halo CE..to make this gun useful for something and not just to fill up a space on the map.

==Grenades==

M9 HE-DP Fragmentation Grenade
* Double the amount of smoke let out from H2
* Same Damage, Blast radius, and Fuse time as in H2

Plasma Grenade
* Same Damage, Blast radius, and Fuse time as in H2
* Change the sound and look of the explosion so it will
be identical to H:CE's Plasma nades


==Hand-to-hand==

Fists
* Drop curent weapon with down on the D Pad
* Does same amount of damage as a small weapon's melee, but is faster

Melees
* Sword is the only weapon that has a lunge feature
* All other weapon's melees have greater range,
but there is no lunge, so the "X" cancel feature will ONLY work on the Energy Sword/Machete...no button combos.


=Specialty Weapons=

GTAM: Ground-to-Air-Missiles
* Can only lock onto a Dropship, due to it's large engine heat that is produced
* 1 per base.
* 3 shots kills a Dropship.

Artillery Strike

* Link up to the network via computer on one part of the map
Available at random times.
* Only in Team Slayer or Territory gametypes,
on the largest of maps (think Bridge too Far from Battle Field 2 Modern Combat)

* If it's activated by an Elite (Or Flood Elite), a Seraph will drop 5 Covenant Bombs.
* If it's activated by a Spartan, a Longsword will drop 5 Human Bombs.

Reasons to have this: Decreases camping greatly, varies up the
gameplay while keeping it balanced+more skillful, and it's more realistic.

------
This might seem unfair at first, but keep in mind that the bombs would not effect enemies who are in their base (or yours for that matter)..And they should be given a slight warning, seconds before the strike is to occur, so they could hop inside the base at any given time.

Also, an announcement, consisting of something along the lines of : "Air Strike is not within range, contact us if you still need it" would appear at the bottom of your HUD for a few seconds, so if you pay attention..




More Ideas to optimize fun with weapons
Slightly easier to 'lure' weapons to you using nades

Options
* Infinite Grenade Option like in H:CE
* All Plasma or Frag Frenades option
* HUD on/off option
* No Zooming Option (for Noscope gametypes)

---Dual Wielding

There is no doubt that dual wielding is a cool new feature to the Haloverse, but it is a seriously flawed system that Bungie can fix in Halo 3..

Every single weapon and Vehicle has been weakened due to the dual wielding feature that was introduced..why? I don't know, but there was an easier option.

All single-handed weapons should be stronger, so that they are useful on their own, and don't need a dual wield counterpart to be effective (compare the Halo plasma Rifle with the Halo 2 Plasma Rifle)

The way to fix this is to make dual wielded weapons less accurate (it makes sense - you are holding it with one hand instead of two now..and it has no stock extended) and make the player reload both weapons seperately, rather than at the same time...

(How do we rub our thighs with our SMG-Magnum combo, and it automatically reloads?)

This would make dual wielding take skill, be balanced, and everything won't need to be severely weakened to utilize this feature

M12 Warthog LRV
* 1 driver, 1 passenger, 1 gunner.
* Toggle the headlights on/off with the black button.

M12G1 Gauss Warthog LAAV
* 1 driver, 1 passenger, 1 gunner.
* Toggle the headlights on/off with the black button.

M12R1 Rocket Warthog MAAV
* 1 driver, 1 passenger, 1 gunner.
* Toggle the headlights on/off with the black button.

Transport Warthog
* 1 driver, 1 passenger, 6 in back.
* Toggle the headlights on/off with the black button.

ATV
* 1 driver, 1 passenger on back.
* Toggle the headlights on/off with the black button.
* 2 fixed 10 mm rapid fire machine gun turrets (innacurate)

This has two people on it, because it's guns are more innacurate, and slightly weaker than a Ghosts..though it's slightly faster..A guy with a single dual wieldable gun would still be balanced..Flag/Bomb carriers wouldn't be able to get on, since two hands are needed to hold it (and just balance issues..the ATV is too fast for that.)


M808B Scorpion MBT
* 1 driver/gunner, 4 (friendly) passengers on treads
* Same speed/maneuvering (and engine sound) as in Halo CE

Pelican
* 1 driver, 1 co pilot, 1 passenger (crew captain), 7 people in back
* Only available on the largest of maps
* Can carry any (one) vehicle under tail
---Must drop vehicle from low height, or it will break/explode
* .30 cal turret on back, .50 cal turret on front (used by pilot) 700 rounds in each
* Dual Anvil II Missile launchers used by pilot, both must be shot to reload,
reload time = 7 seconds

Helicopter
* 1 driver/main turret gunner, 2 gunners, 2 passengers
* Only available on largest maps
* .30 cal turret on nose, 2 .30 cal turrets- one on each side


==Covenant Vehicles==

Spectre
* 1 driver, 2 passengers, 1 gunner

Shadow

* Remove boost function, make it as fast as the Halo CE banshee, and have the same maneuvering (you can fly backwards, and hover)
* Banshee bomb is back, 4 second reload time identical to H:CE's 'shee
* Plasma turrets fire slower than H2's and are more powerful but less accurate

Covenant Launching Artillery Unit
The thing from the E3 Demo of Halo 2
* 1 gunner
* Only on the largest of maps
* Has a limit of 17 shots and has a reload time inbetween shooting.
* Reload time=7 seconds
* Completely immobile
* The plasma mortar has a speed about the same of a Wraiths, but is 3x as stronger, leaving room for it to be useful, while the other team can easily overcome it.
* 2 Rockets to the Gunner's "seat" will kill him/her.

The point of this mortar launcher is to place a powerful weapon on the map, that can be controlled with good teamwork, but can easily be taken out by the opposing team(s) if the mortar user's teammate's aren't watching his/her back. This is why it would only take two rockets to take the user out, like a tank.

It's a very powerful weapon that be easily overthrown by enemies if your teammates aren't good at being a team

Survival Mode
--"Gore"
* Make blood splatter look real, not thick and fake like they did in the first two games.

Make sure individual droplets visible.


--Interactive Environments
==Like Battlefield 2: Modern Combat==
* Holes to appear in Ground/Walls/Trees based on velocity/power of weapon.
* Plasma will leave a smoldering black hole


--Trees/Logs
* Trees would turn to splinter's from a large calibur missile (Rocket Launcher), or continuous fire from high Calibur rounds (Warthog's LAAG)
* Continuous plasma fire should make the tree start to burn
* A wraith's mortar (for example) should turn the tree to splinters, then the remains would still be on fire.


--Grass/Dirt
* Bullets will carve out portions of the ground sending dirt into the air and vegetation into the air


--Water
* Make water splash when someone is walking/running/dieing in it..or shooting it with human weapons.
* Make an audible *sizzle* when a shield recharges in the water, since everything around the vacuum under the shield, but on top of the armor is being vaporizd/displacd
* Make the entrance point from a plasma shot create a quick 'shot' of steam which comes up, since super-heated plasma boils and vaporizes water.


--Interactive Environments
* More things like the Zanzibar Bridge falling. Open more gates, turn on
more Light Bridges, Break more portions of bases.


--Weather
* Matchmaking: Night/Evening version of maps chosen randomly
* Customs: Night/Day/Morning/Evening options, along with other options including - Rainy, Sunny, Cloudy, Foggy, Windy, and a combination of any two of the previously listed.

* This could vary the gameplay, while keeping the same basic playstyle in matchmaking

* Filming would be better in customs (I know Bungie cares about filming, they support RvB)

* Becoming 'pro' means you need to adapt, so varying the gameplay every once in a while will weed out the people who are skillful from the people who can only play effectively if it's the same thing over and over and over and over again...


--Debris
This could only be in Custom Games, so people won't complain in MM.

* Debris could be placed on the map in different places - designed and designated by Bungie

* This would vary the gameplay up exponentially, and increase skill needed to win and the fun factor as well

* It would make us move slower through a space (maybe add in Coolant, like in the level Keyes, or exit our vehicle (a big log falls)...or you could just turn it to splinters with a few 'nades, and some firing from your Warthog's LAAG...or run around it with the bomb..

All these characters are about 7ft tall, and would have the same hitboxes like Elites and Spartans have now in Halo 2...This would allow for more customizability, and more immersion while not unbalancing things.

<cutscene> = things that have always openned up, and closed each Halo level.

<cinematic> = things that begin and end the games..more epic than the cutscenes.

There will be plenty of secondary objectives for most of the missions, and the levels would be extremely linear, and you could progress to the ending whichever way you choose

Openning scene

We see the Chief pacing back and forth on the deck of the Forerunner ship after it has just taken off. He seems uneasy, and looks all around him and grips his Battle RIfle close to his chest...he lets out a breath, and lets his head droop down.

Fade to black--

The time, date and location are shown in the bottom of the screen as we see a room materialize before us. We see Halsey introduce herself and inform the Spartans in the room of their mission and what the Pillar of Autumn (PoA) was originally recommissioned for..to get to High Charity, and capture a Prophet.

Screen blurs, and then fades to black--

Time, date, and location shown at the bottom of the screen as we see scene come into view. We see the Spartans getting geared up, and Keyes comes down to inform them of Reach being invaded..He leaves and Chief tells the Spartans to get everything ready quickly.

Take control of the Chief shortly to take a break from the cutscene..Chief gets his shields and armor tested. This scene would bring back some nostalgia, and the ability to explore the launch bays before they were damaged when the PoA crashed.

After this scene, we get backinto the cutscene..we see the two Dropships speed out of the launch bay, and split up..

Fade to black as our controllers and screen vibrate erratically

We see the Chief is jogged back into his normal state of mind by the Forerunner Ship leaving slipspace. The exchange of words between Chief and Hood from the end of Halo 2 takes place...

Mission 01: The _(Forerunner Ship)_
Objectives : :
* Fight your way to Truth

* When Hood orders you to get off the ship since he needs you on the Cairo, fight your way to the ship's main hangar at the back of the ship

* Secure a Covenant boarding ship, escape.

Chief reaches the Cairo, but the ship is shot by a Seraph, and begins behaving erratically..he steers the ship into one of the Cairo's many Hangar bays..and crashes.

Screen blurs, and fades to black

We see Chief, Johnson, Jenkins, Bisenti, and Linda (who was medically dead) escape the Space dock in the Pelican, and get back to to PoA..

Mission 02: Reunion
<cutscene>
Chief awakens with Hood's voice coming in over the Comm. Chief sees that his BR isn't functional anymore, so he grabs a Plasma Rifle, and jumps out of the ship..and sees Covenant forces in the hangar

Objectives : :
* Break out of the Hangar, and through forces of Elites,Grunts,Jackals,Brutes,etc.

* Fight your way to the Bridge, and kill the forces closing in on Hood.

* Hood tells you to get to a Hangar Bay, because "Your Spartans are waiting".

* Fight your way to the Hangar Bay

-Reunion-

You meet up with the Spartans, who have re-enforced a Pelican, and have stockpiled weapons.

Fred, Will, and Kelly step up and suggest that they bring heat-resistant chutes..because of what happened on Reach.

--V.O. Of them talking during parts
The Pelican's "Hot Drop" into Reach, where 4 Spartans were KIA--
</cinematic>
The Pelican goes towards Earth, and is partially destroyed by Seraphs..the Spartans drop out, and enter the atmosphere...and land on Earth

Mission 03: And we're back..from outerspace...
<cutscene>
The Spartans land in Chicago (where Foundation is located) which is under siege by Covenant forces..
</cutscene>

Objectives : :
* Split up and fight your way into the city.

* Take back a Marine base which is under attack.

* Rally with the Marines, and meet up with the other Spartans outside of the City Square

* Fight your way into the center of the square, retake city Hall..get to the roof. It is now your Evac point.

* The Pelican is shot down before reaching you, so fight your way to the city limits with your forces and marines..

You are evaced by a few Pelicans, and are En Route to Africa..where the Covenant have hit hardest.

Mission 04: ?

Objectives : :
* When you reach Africa, the Pelican Pilot tells you to get ready to get out, the drop will be hot...similar to The Silent Cartographer

* Fight your way up a hill through Covenant forces, and confuse their encampment with hit-and-run tactics until Marine re-enforcements arrive via Dropships..

* Destroy the encampment with your forces, and at afar some Longswords do an airstrike on surviving forces (like in the Halo 2 E3 demo).

Now you need to be evac.ed once again, and are headed towars Voi..

Fade to black


Mission 05:
Take control of the Arbiter

Objectives : :
* Fight through forces of Brutes out of the Control room

* Get back to your Scarab

* The Arbiter must defend the Scarab from incoming fire either from on the Scarab, or in a Banshee as you make your way to a Phantom

* They all board the Phantom, and leave Delta Halo..then make their way to High Charity

* Fight through waves of Flood to a working Covenant ship.

Mission 06:
Take control of the Arbiter

Objectives : :
* On the way, you meet Cortana and scoop her up..

* Continue fighting through Flood, and you meet up with some Elites and Marines who have teamed up to fight the Flood..

* Help your comrades
* Move as a group through a Flood-ravaged city, and reach a ship..

* On the way out of HC in the small ONI Stealth ship (a Prowler), Gravemind lashes a tentacle at you, and almost makes you crash, but you recover, and enter slipspace.

Mission 07: Down...but not out
On the way to Voi, to escort Marines who have a Nuke, your Pelican is shot down by a Covenant Artillery Unit..

Objectives : :
* You are plit up from your Spartans and Marines by the wreckage..

* Get off of the Highway, and attempt to get to Voi from the under-ground tunnels

* Halfway on the way to Voi, the tunnel is blasted..either exit and go up top and fight more Covenant out in the open..or stay in the tunnel and fight less Covenant in closed spaces.

--The Road to Voi--

* You meet the Marines who have made it far..link up with them, and continue to escort them to Voi, which is their next checkpoint.

* Your Spartans meet up with you again, and you all escort the Marines..fight Covenant along the way.

* Near Voi, you are ordered to head back to the wreckage of Mombasa..you allow your Spartans to go along with the Marines, and go alone.

Mission 08: The Ark

Objectives : :
* Fight your way through the Covenant infested Space Elevator ruins seen in the trailer.

* You see why you were called, and wish you had brought your other Spartans..hundreds of Covenant ships have jumped into the Earth's atmosphere, and as hovering over a gigantic structure..

* The structure activates as Chief overloooks it from a cliff, and when the light (to link up with the Halo's network..similar to a private internet connection) shoots out, he (being a Forerunner decendant like all humans) is knocked out momentarily from being too close..

<(short) cinematic>
The Covenant Dropship int.
Chief, and some Spartans are seen escaping Reach with Battle Rifles, on to the Ascendant Justice...and then jump away from Reach..
</(short) cinematic>

Your vision blurs, as you wake up slowly..apparently only seconds after passing out.

Mission 09: ??

Objectives : :
* Fight your way down the Cliff/Hill to the Ark

* Enter the Ark via one f the many outer entrances

* When you get in, you meet Monitor 00 (white in color) of the Ark..installation 00.

* He brings you to the center..it's a gigantic circular room, with strange holes, and protrusions in the walls all around...it seems like a giant keyhole.

Then Chief sees the Forerunner ship 'parked' nose up in the structure, and spinning extremely slowly..

Mission 10: The _(Prowler's name)_

Objectives : :
* 343 GS senses Flood onboard, so Cortana flies the ship while the Arbiter, Marines, and Elites head to the rear of the ship...

* Eliminate the immediate Flood threat..

* Cortana will decompress the infected compartments, so get back to the Bridge.

* Fight through Brutes who were pre viously hidden, and close the pressure doors behind you each step of the way..

<cutscene>
Cortana closes the emergency pressure doors, and releases all compartments' atmosphere besides the Bridge.

Miranda asks Johnson how he got off of Halo, so he explains shortly while a scene of the Pelican flying off Halo, Halo blowing up, then the Pelican and Chief's Longsword linking up to enter the Ascendant Justice, and leave Halo

The Prowler exits Slipspace, and time/date/location stamps appear at the bottom of the screen as you see Mars come into view...

Time to pay a Visit to Chiron.

Mission 11: Chiron TL 34

Objectives : :
* Play as the Arbiter, Lead your Marines and Elites through wrecked Hallways, and rally Elites, Grunts, and Hunters who have previously been attacking humans..

* When you do so, you need to try to get back to your ship...but a group of figures slaughters a squad of Brutes in mere seconds...they are dressed in the MJOLNIR Mk VII, or MK VI..whichever Bungie would add.

* The S-III say that they will need to Earth, and help complete the mission they were created for..saving humanity.
--The S-III split up, and take back the main Hangar bays upon entering the ship, and egtting out of the Zero-gee combat

* The Arbiter brings them to a Covenant Cruiser hovering near the surface..enter the Grav. lift, and fight through waves of Brutes to the Bridge, and your Elites take control of the Cruiser, and begin to take you to Earth..

Cortana warns Hood that they are coming in a Covenant ship, and not to fire on them.

Mission 12: The Key is Turning..

Objectives : :
* Play as the Master Chief, fight your way onto the ship...

* Enter the same Hangar you exited from in the beginning and make your way to the ship's bridge..

* On the way there, Flood spill out from every direction, and, the ship stops spinning

Mission 13: Truth

Objectives : :
* Fight through waves and waves of Flood, Brutes, Drinol, Jackals, Juggernauts, etc. to reach Truth..

* Kill Truth, and his personal Brute Honor Guards

* Escape the ship before it is totally locked down..the Spartans have secured the Evac Point.

Cinematic: The tides of War are turning

Once the Arbiter reaches Earth, he broadcasts that all Covenant ships stop attacking the humans, and explains how the Prophets have lied ot them all along..the humans are the people they should be worshipping...

343 GS then goes and speaks to them all, and explains in short the humans' past as the Forerunners, and how the Prophets tried to stop the humans before they got powerful once again..

The ships then turn their attention towards where Truth was last..in the Ark...


Mission 14: Ruins

Objectives : :
* Escape the Ark
* Get to the Evac Point

<cutscene>
A Pelican brings you to your next point..
</cutscene>

* Travel through the ruins of Mombasa to reach the Marines

* Once you reach the Marines, you find that the Arbiter, Miranda, Johnson, Elites, etc. are back on Earth..along with the Spartan IIIs

<cutscene>
The Ships in-system turn and 'glass' the Ark..it won't be activated, and the Flood that were still alive in it are no longer so..
</cutscene>

* Fight your way further north

* Get to the outskirts of Voi, and begin to go to work on the Brutes, Drinol, Jackals, etc. there..

Mission 14: All or Nothing

Objectives : :
* You, The Arbiter, your S-IIs, and the S-IIIs all go into one final humungous battle..side by side with the Elites and Marines.

* Retake the City, and send the Brutes and their forces back into space..where they are then blasted to bits by the remaining Orbital MAC Guns, Covenant Ships, and surviving UNSC ships.

<cutscene>
Brutes are destroyed.

343 GS explains to the Chief, and everyone around who the Forerunners are in more detail..how the Elites and Prophets were involved, and where the Flood came from..

When he is finished, GS shuts down..apparently there is no more use for him..his installation is no more, neither is the Ark..


Fade to Black
</cutscene>

Ending Cinematic
A tall, well built man in white dress uniform and walking through a UNSC facility...we have no clue who he is, since we can only see his shoulders, ack of his head, back and arms..

Soldiers in the complex are saluting him..and he returns the favor with a nod.

Once he reaches the ceremony room, he opens the door, looks at a Marine guard to his right, and the guy gives him a nod..he looks up and sees Johnson and a row of the surviving S-IIs, and The Arbiter at the other end of a long walkway/carpet, and once he gets close enough..

Johnson looks at him sorta funny, but smiles anyway and pats him on the shoulder and says "You never cease to amaze me"..the camera starts slowly rotating around, just as we hear the guy that we've been following say "What? I told you I'd wear something nice."

Just before we get to see his profile he lifts his arm to put on his dress hat.

Play some upbeat music at a low volume as Hood (or whoever else the ranking officer is) gives the rewards, then salutes.

The group smiles at him, salutes, then smiles at the crowd..salutes..and they walk out. Fade to black..

**ROLL CREDITS**

We see Pentinent Tangent fly through space, and hear Gravemind's disturbing laugh as a tentacle lashes out and grabs Tangent..showing that sin (The Flood) will always be around, but can easily be shut down for periods of time...

An Artillery strike isn't much..just soften up your enemies (on huge maps) by bombing the outside of their main base..they're perfectly safe inside..this would also decrease spawn campers on large maps ;)

Yeah..Halo 3 should have some games where you could have up to 24 people playing..or maybe 32? A huge map would be needed for that..lots of vehicles..Dropships? Artillery Strikes..

here's some constructive criticism.

your ideas for campaign mostly sucked because it jumped around far too much and there were like what? a grand total of 3 levels on earth or something? MC seemed like a very minor character in the story, and it was slightly anticlimactic how you described some of the key points. also, the time travel didn't make sense because he took the index with him right? then how could the index be there when he arrived during the events of halo 1? it would have been missing.

so basically your campaign ideas could use some fine tuning. more focus on MC and arbiter. less focus on S3's and the events of reach.

your weapon and vehicle ideas are somewhat lacking and in general this was quite fun reading but i disagree with several suggestions.

perhaps i'll make my own topic with my ideas on how halo 3 should turn out.
