Yes, rockets that would be stronger (like all weapons) like in Halo CE..so if everything gets a boost, it's still balanced, though nothing needs to be nerfed.

Also, how would two pistols ruin the game? One to weak one to dual wield (M6D Pistol), and one to single wield which is stronger, but less accurate..only for up close fighting (M6C Magnum)

If you want ideas from different games in Halo 3. You should go play those games. Artillery strikes are stupid. The AR SUCKS. AR = No Skill. let merepeat that AR = NO SKILL. At least the BR takes skill.

I agree with SOME of your vechile ideas, and cut down on some of the vechiles. There is way too many vechiles and weapon ides noted. Or maybe have some vechiles for some maps.. for the massive huge maps in MP, have like 1 vechile that takes 4 passangers for each team.

But I disagree with your vechiles and weapons that are the same as HaloCE. Bungie can do SO MUCH BETTER with the sounds and textures... really. You don't even know how amazing they can make sounds be. Make it 'hit your chest' type sounnds..

A machete would be the funnest way to kill grunts in halo 3. I honestly don't care if it takes place in the future I just want good gameplay for halo 3.

* Trees would turn to splinter's from a large calibur missile (Rocket Launcher), or continuous fire from high Calibur rounds (Warthog's LAAG)
* Continuous plasma fire should make the tree start to burn
* A wraith's mortar (for example) should turn the tree to splinters, then the remains would still be on fire.


I love the idea of being able to set the enviroment ablaze. Just imagine a forest level, seeing a group of enemies, and instead of shooting them, simply start a fire around them.

Imagine the possibilities :)

Ah, look at the lonely people...

I love it all, except for the Flood form option. They have distinctly different headshot zones than Spartans/Elites, and would unbalance the game. Plus, I think we can get by with MJOLNIR Mk. V / VI / VII(?) and the different types of elites for the player customization, hmm?

That has some very good things in there

without aim assit there would be no random or lucky head shots it will take skill

the artiallry (sorry) strike would be so cool too. but how many times could you do it?

Infinite gernades = YES

The machete should be changed be to a combat knife though ( that is what the sword is for)

Everything else is great though nice job

That was the most impressive, descriptive, logical and dedicated idea I've ever read. Great job! The one thing I disagree with is the removal of the sniper rifle/ beam rifle aiming assist. It is a good idea, don't get me wrong. I just think that It make it more fun when you can take out four people easily with insane shots. Also people are now just so used to it, that it would be too hard for everyone to get used to it. (exept Rippon) It's like if they rearanged the keys on a keyboard. Don't think that I'm saying this because I'm a bad sniper (lvl 32 all legit) and Halo 1 sniping was really fun (no scopes on Chiron TL-34 rules).

Actually, an Artillery strike option at times would keep the games that are one huge maps (that would probably take much longer to finish) going at a fast pace. They're also in the books ;)

Yes, the BR takes far more skill with it's massive amount of aim assist. "let merepeat"? Obviously, you lack the skill necessary to type correctly.

Well, the Flood form's head hangs limply around the back, while the Elit'es 'neck' is at the same height as that..so it's not really unbalanced..if I'm wrong, I'm sure Bungie could tweak the heights slightly for balance issues..

I mean, how sweet would it be to finally be able to beat down a Floof form? Lol.

Well I said to elave in magnetism, so the reticule will still follow the person's head slightly (like in halo 2) but with no aim assist, you need to actually hit the person in the had to kill them..lol. I hate sweep snipers =(

You'll still be able to take out 4 enemies with a sniper's insane shots..it will just take more practice this time around ;)

Update to Weapons Post..gave Sentinal Beam slight "freeze effect" that the Plasma weapons had in Halo Ce, to make this weapon useful at times, rather than to just take up space on a map..

There is a lot that can be improved for your vechile, weapon, squad command, and campaign ideas. First simplify the commands, the average joe wouldn't want to bust out the game book everytime he wanted a marine to go somewhere. Second, though everyone who has read the books likes them, its not feasible to include most of your mission ideas (the jumping around would confuse a lot of people). Third, even though the ATV would be a great idea its unbalanced and two fixed weaopns would mean a person would have to go straight at another to get a shot off. Last is the weapons, though you have a lot of good points a Jackal shield isnt the best thing that can be added to the game. What is needed is the games ability to through in an odd ball weapon to a map in a random location to change the gameplay dynamics. Also it would take a lot to execute the artillery properly.

nooooo i love grunts! there funny and i want a stuffed one, or 50 thousand, to make an army. i would put a pinecone in the seat of a warthog right before someone gets in, like i do with plasma's to teammates on sidewinder in lan games in halo ce. heh heh nasty surprise...

I've played CoD: UO and BF2 online and been blown to pieces so many times by arty. It also causes alot of lag in some cases. On top of that, I think it just takes away from the 'atomosphere' of Halo. Halo is "run out, shoot some guy, die, respawn, do it again" not "Hide in the base and -blam!- kids with arty all day".

The artillery strike call in point would be somewhere in the middle of the map (much like most powerful weapons are)..and it would only be in the huge maps..

How huge, one might ask?

Ones 5 times the size of Coagulation (If we have a few of those)..so essentially it's still a run and gun..but when a game gets that large, and there are that many people....

...You need things to vary the game play (Artillery Strikes) and ways to keep players constantly moving (More Vehicles, and Dropships)

As for the Multiplayer ideas.....some were pretty good.

Dont forget though Bungie said that they have all there plans and that Fans lists won't affect what they have already done(I dont remember the exact quote.)

...you would die as soon as you get to the call point, considering you have to pull up a screen and direct your fire.

I thought it was Trautman? He at least has a major hand in it..Staten is in charge of Cinematics..
