Remember kids: when Uncle Delta tells you he has sweeties, he isn't lying.

Now get in the van.

The Black Chapter

So yeah, unless they pull a Molo, Ninjas are just like any other member in Private Groups.
They shouldn't pull a Molo though because that isn't cool

On a related note, 'pulling a Molo' should be a thing.

They are only ninjas on the public forum.

They are members like you and me, just with some "upgrades" and to maintain us in control. They need to join a group to see...

Unlike the webmaster, who can peek on your group without joining, he can even post if he wants.

What I got out of this.

Oh yeah, since somebody does not believe what YOU believe; that makes us vapid...
I cannot grasp that what you call "Something happened to nothing, and that nothing became something, and it was smaller than than a period."

I think it would all depend on the content that was listed in said group. If it was something serious or illegal, I am guessing the ninja would inform a bungie employee and he would take any appropriate action.
I think this is the best answer.
They themselves aren't doing the banning, but are still doing their job of reporting illegal stuff.

Not sure they can. I've seen Achronos do it before though.
That is because Achronos is the overlord and can do whatever he wants. I believe that the bungie.net team are not necessarily subject to the same rules as are everyone else so that they can enforce the rules better. However, they do rarely stray form the rules. Forum Ninjas, I believe, are unable to do this.

No, but Superusers such as Achronos, DeeJ and urk can do said "spying" because they are not subject to the same user restrictions as us.

They are above the average users, almost like gods of old! ;O

Why should we spy when we each have our own personal network of Baker Street Irregulars?

Jay acts like she's better than everyone else simply because she's a chick.
I hope she chokes to death.

I'm sure that any ninja who saw a blatant ToS violation in a group they were in (links to illegal material, blatantly NSFW posts, etc) would say something to the group admin so as not to risk the group getting nuked by Achronos. I feel like that would be the professional thing to do.

That said, there have been several instances of ninjas not doing this, so I guess "professional" means different things to some of them.

No. /thread.

No.

If a Ninja was given permission to access a thread, could they take action without being promoted to the proper rank? I think they only have their power and title in the proper forums. I think this might be checkable if we were to find a post of theirs in a group.

No personal experience of my own, but if I got a solid impression that group administration was aware, sanctioning, complicit or at least turning a blind eye to such activity, I wouldn't consider them in need of my professional courtesy.

Their powers are useless outside the main forums unless given moderation abilities in that group.

Again: No. (On all counts.)

I just had a thought.

What would happen to a group consisting of one person, set to private, and is filled with links to all their NSFW picture stashes? (Assuming none of it is CP/illegal.)

Then that person is stupid. I don't see the problem if it's not illegal either.

Are we assuming this person doesn't know how to use Google/Baidu?

Why would you need a group to store links?

I dunno. The thought popped into my head. Perhaps they're going to loose access to their sexy-stuff and are going to download it back on a different computer?

Can I have an answer now?

EDIT: The question is more: "Will a group full of stuff that can't be posted on the public forums, but is not illegal in anyway be nuked?" If that makes more sense.

Oh look! We've finally spotted the elusive abdominal double poster!

Seriously though, what do you mean? I've never heard of something like that.

As Mythic Members can attest, Achronos' response to this can basically be summed up as 'I've deleted this thread, and if you ever do anything like this again I'm going to ban every single member of this group and then delete the group'.

Verachi, it might even be before your time. This was a few years ago, I forget when.

As for YANW, well, DeeJ was just being friendly and Achronos was telling us how awesome we all are for being the wittiest, most gorgeous people on bungie.net.

We, of course, told them both that they were not welcome.

why you hatin on my post style yo?

I thought there was a rule that you had to have a certain number of members before a deadline, or else they delete your group because it would take up too much space.
