You understand this is going to just bring up all the old crap none of us ever wanted to deal with again right? Its fine if you like specific users, and its fine to post constructively about them. But leave it to PMs if its going to be a diatribe and hero worship.
A thread about how good users behave is fine. A thread about a user, if you have their permission, and if there are not a ton of potential negative reactions spawning from it is fine too. This...just crosses a line.
I don't normally lock a thread because I don't like it, but I do frequently lock threads if I see a serious potential for it to turn sour. I don't like this thread, but I do see some serious potential for abuse. Especially since that potential could easily be avoided if you simply made the thread about general behavior, or simply just PMed whomever you want to laud. I mean, look at all the inane, pseudo-religious hyperbole. This is simply unacceptable.
As such, locked. I suggest you take this to PM if you want to further praise a specific user. If you decide to make another thread about this sort of thing, make it about THE COMMUNITY instead of kneeling at the feet of a specific user.
