One by MasterRC, apparent world record full run...
The parameters for this run where as follows:
Play on Legendary with no skulls, solo,
Do the whole game in under 3 hours without a break (single-segment),
Don't die.
The first two parts of that are meh. I can do that any day of the week, any time of day. Not dying is much more challenging considering one minor mistake ruins the entire run and can cost you hours of gameplay.
Don't know about you, but the standard speed run path for Nightfall has a fairly random success rate for me. If you know some trick that ensures safety while preserving speed, please, do enlighten me.
So I chose to use camo and go through a more circuitous path to ensure my safety. I'd previously died a fair number of times at the first settlement in nightfall - costing me 20 minutes of gameplay each time - but as soon as I changed to the path you see in the video, I landed the whole thing only a couple of tries later.
It shouldn't be any surprise then, that Cody Miller used the same path there at AGDQ 2012 when he attempted to replicate the feat.

Apparent being the key word here. He's probably not. I've seen much faster runs of Nightfall than his, and therefore I'd assume that there are faster full runs than his.
You can assume all you like, but records need to be proven with evidence, not just by conjecture. The old HIH saying: "No pics, no pruf, no truf" applies - well, video, stats and saved films in this case. Besides, I've done faster full-game runs myself, just not without deaths, and the no-deaths part was really the main point of this run.
Anyone is welcome to challenge my record, but you'll be held to the same standard of evidence that I was.

It's quite simple actually. You were watching a bad player attempt a speed run. A good speed runner would choose sprint for Nightfall.
You guys are hilarious.
