This isn't the answer.

The numbers for the images are also not all correct.

The webmaster is not represented in the pictures.

I had thought the webmaster wasn't in it originally. Just not sure what the banana represents...

There's no way Nate Hawbaker's favorite hero is Alan Stuart

ALAN IS A BEAUTIFUL MAN!

Ok, here's my final edit of the seven.

1. Bungie Jumping

2. Apple

3. Angel

4. 4 at the top

5. Could possibly be the music note, but what is with General Petraeus?

6. Half cuckoo clock

7. Banana?

How long did it take you to make this puzzle?

This puzzle is based upon a puzzle I'd created a long time ago (but never used) for a different contest. As a result, the concept just took a little refinement to base it off of something else; actually putting it together took me... maybe two hours or so?

But what's your reasoning behind the order?
That's the important part.

Don't judge a book by its cover, unless it has bacon on the cover, then it is a good book.

hey missing link, for those of us who aren't so great at math puzzles or puzzles like these in general, do you have any challenges lined up that won't make me want to put my head through a wall?

Same pattern regardless of what you call it.

Bye.

Can someone explain their logic behind ordering the images?

  • 09.15.2012 12:28 PM PDT

I'm thinking you guys have forgotten what the Banana Phone actually is. It's a phone. Maybe it represents an important phone call? I'm sure the banana was just something to throw us off.

Ok, so Bungie, Apple, Angel, General, Phone, Clock, Four.

Bungie forms, makes apple games, starts working on Halo, General Conditions were treble 'so' Bungie calls up Microsoft, splits into it's own corporation and four years later announces Bungie Aerospace.

But regardless, do we connect dots on the puzzle or what?

Probably not correct, but interesting and it seems to be going somewhere.

*Shrugs* I dunno, I'm not sure why the answer is the motto either, that's just the most logically consistent formation of the images I could think of.

The phone should be last because Aerospace helps developers make games for the mobile phone platform.

Just tried that. I didn't see anything spelled out in the crossed out letters and numbers. Nothing in the shapes to spell out anything either.

Could operate off Defnop's suggestion.

The reason I put in "calls up microsoft" is because my line of reasoning is that the '4' was the last in the sequence, so I needed to use the phone.

Just tried that as well. Still nothing. I think we're going wrong with the numbers after 2. We need to re-think this.

I'd love to know why the 4 at the top doesn't have a little blue circle beneath it.

Has anyone tried connecting the dots with MURDUR's new order? That = the best course of action atm, imo.

But I don't know how to progress after '6HOUD' in a way that makes sense.

Ah, didn't see that. I'm still not entirely seeing how treble works into MURDUR's sequence, unless it has some other meaning I'm ignorant of.
