There's no way Nate Hawbaker's favorite hero is Alan Stuart

ALAN IS A BEAUTIFUL MAN!

Why would we need to put the pictures in numerical order as well? One could just look at the final picture and say 'Oh, it's blah blah blah'

I haven't seen anything that hints at what to use the numbers and letters inside for. (Although, I did do a little bit of connecting the dots numerically, that ended up with lines all over the place, so that's out.

No, I feel like it may have to do with it being either Spatial, or choosing a number/letter out of each quadrant of the Septagon, plus some in the middle.

Ah, didn't see that. I'm still not entirely seeing how treble works into MURDUR's sequence, unless it has some other meaning I'm ignorant of.

Ok, for the music note, I think it was a hint to Marty and the number 5, and as for Petraeus:

On the wiki, it said he was nominated to be the General of the Army, and how does Marty play into this?

See for yourself.

Bye.

Is it possible that after figuring out the order of the images you place the blue dot and picture over its corresponding number which will block out letters and numbers. Eventually all the numbers have been covered and maybe you can spell something with the words left over?

Treble is the clef that the G is played on.

I'm using it as a synonym, simile, ineedtorelearnenglish, for terrible.

It's also called the "G-Clef" if that helps anyone.

Didn't think of that. I'll see what I can do with my Paint skills.

*cracks knuckles*

Tried it and a bunch of random letters were left.

AARDWDTEDDQDWICOUSWSPOAH

I'm pretty sure that's not right either.

One of the hints was that none of the pictures are of employees, I'm assuming he meant by extension things related to them, but I don't know.

How would you place the blue dot and picture over the number? I could just wipe out 1-7 since there are only 7 pictures, unless you and I are on totally different trains of thought.

Good idea, none-the-less.

Or maybe you connect a line from the numbers to their respective pictures?

Still, I think the biggest gamebreaker right now would be as to Why we need the pictures in order.

If there were no numbers, it'd make sense (since you'd need some kind of proof as to how you arrive at the conclusion) But there are numbers and there are letters.

I thought so I just didn't think you were actually going there. ;) In that case, I'm not sure your assessment is accurate.

I dunno, I was just basing it off the fact that whenever I look at a post-release video of Halo 2 development I always see "Sleep? What's sleep? We've got a game to develop.".

And stuff like that because the crunch was so damn tight.
You know Halo 3 was apparently meant to be part of Halo 2, so the crunch must have been pretty bad if they had to cut a whole second game of content from the game.

Of course if they did finish "the Halo 3 part" of the campaign wouldn't have been as long as Halo 3 at all but it still presumably would have wrapped up the trilogy.

Also the last time I remember watching a video with Bungie talking about Mircosoft it was along the lines of "They made us wear ties and work in cubicles, we didn't like that.".

Well I tried, I did think Bungie saying "microsoft sucks" was a little uncharacteristic for a puzzle, but it was the most logically consistent at the time and they have said things to the effect at the past.

ALAN IS A BEAUTIFUL MAN!

My final answer:

Do what defnop said and take numbers and make a line to their respective pictures.

The pictures followed the 7 steps to world domination.

I've already said the pictures in order like 10 times, so there's no need to repeat.

Connecting the letters back to their pictures out a bunch of letters, and eventually you're left with the letters needed to make the 7th picture's (Aerospace's motto) Per Audacia Ad Astra.

Here's what I did.

Thanks to Spec Op, We have the answer: Per Audacia Ad Astra.

I have to go, I've been at this for ~5 hours. Good bye. Good luck

  • 09.15.2012 1:19 PM PDT

Have you seen my mind anywhere? I seem to have lost it...

0x0 x0x 0x0 000 000 x0x 000
x0x 0x0 0x0 0xx 000 0x0 000
x0x x0x x00 0xx 0x0 x0x 0x0

I have seen you future

So each picture corresponds to a number, and if you draw a line from each picture to its corresponding number the lines will cross out letters leaving you with the letters to spell "Per Audacia Ad Astrata".

The picture of the general and the musical note have nothing to do with Marty... at least within the framework of this puzzle.

The 4 at the top does not mean that it is #4; the 4 represents an instruction.

You're on the right track. You just don't the right order of pictures. I tried that as well with same order. Still no answer.

I'm pretty sure we're on the right idea though. It makes sense to use the numbers to cross out letters. In the end, there needs to be no numbers left on the image. I believe once we get the right order, we'll have this thing solved.

I'll be back in a few to see if anyone has solved it. Or MisssingLink can come in here and crush our hopes.

So Banana phone is 4? Video at 0:27. Also it's Osiris at 0:21!

Would the correct order be:

Bungee Jumping : Bungie was founded - Takes a leap into a hard field, game dev
Granny Smith Apple: Marathon - Apple computers
General & G Note: Myth - General = War = Myth
Angel w/ Halo : Halo - Angel's Halo = Halo
Banana Phone: Destiny In the youtube video, the eye = Destiny? And soon to be "called upon" "See [call] you starside/2013"?

And then the Cuckoo Clock is Aerospace?

So
1: Bungee Jumping
2: Apple
3: General & G Note
4: Angel
5. Aerospace
6: Destiny

Or flip 5 & 6?

"Here, take my handkerchief."
Hoofin' it bare-chested since -blam-

Ok, other names for G
+ So (Sol), as already note
+ It's the 5th note above middle C (that might indicate this is the 5th picture?)
+ In a particular key, G wouldbe the "tonic"

As for the banana phone video misssinglink posted, there's 7 "ring"s sung at a time during the chorus...
