Okay, if you're trying to use an xbox controller on PC google it for the drivers. If youre trying to use an xbox 360 controller, go to the microsoft website and the driver for it should be there. Now, if youre trying to hook up your xbox to your pc, I believe there is a thread about that in The Library. Hopefully that helped.

Make sure you get a wired Three Siddy controller. The wireless ones don't work.

To get better mouse/keyboard skillz, you can try playing the Campaign on Easy to get the hang of the controls. Then, move up to Normal, then Heroic, then Legendary. Then, move on to Multiplayer.

lol

Thanks K4lS3RxKH40S.. after I posted I searched for a driver and found one.. installed it all and downloaded a program.. pointed to where the drivers where and it works fine! Lol.

It is more accurate using a keyboard and mouse, I must say. Its only because everyone else is.. if everyone was using a controller, it would be ok. I am good with a controller. But I did get 5th then 6th with it. But with the keyboard I got 1st all 3 times.. lol. It was snipers so meh.

It does not matter how good you are on Halo with the Xbox controller, there is no auto-aim in HPC, and it severely hinders your game play. The mouse and keyboard is more flexible, more accurate than a controller. This is more fact than opinion. Let's face it, Halo and Halo 2 on the Xbox require auto-aim because it is harder to aim with the controller than the mouse/keyboard.

Hm. I've seen people wtfpwn HaloPC vets simply because of their versatility with a properly programmed Xbox controller. There are people who have the ability to get really good with a controller. Now, if you gave two identical twins equal time but gave one a controller and the other a keyboard and mouse, you would see an obvious difference in gameplay, with the K/M winning over the controller.

They're very rare cases, though, you'd be better off trying to learn a mouse and keyboard.

If you're insistent, though, I would go to sites like Halomaps.org and try searching for Xbox Controller Drivers PC. They should have that linked somewhere and avalible as a download. It will config a rewired Xbox controller to work with the PC.

Good luck...
