"Lars also let us try out a new map Sketch and I like to call "Jub-Jub," much to Mr. Bakken's discontent. And it's my favorite new small map. An instant classic like Lockout and on roughly the same scale, with similar pacing and feel, although it looks very, very different."
First off he said "It looks very very different." That should tell everyone its not lockout. Its probably not snowy and based around 3 towers. I mean to me lockout is somewhat reminesicent of chilly from H:CE. But of course the two really arent all that alike.
Anyways as for this "An instant classic like Lockout and on roughly the same scale, with similar pacing and feel
Im kinda worried about this... Do you guys at Bungie remember in Halo:CE when Blood Gulch was the favorite and when sidewinder was also well liked. The big maps were some of the most fun maps in the game. Now in H2 the 6v6, and BTB lists are the least played. And really if you combined them all your big maps would be getting like 6% of the total plays in your game. Im just wondering why you guys think that the bigger maps in H2 are much less liked than the ones in H:CE? Especially when several of them are much like the ones before. In particular why was BG a better map than coag? Im pretty sure I have the answer but I really want to see what someone from bungie thinks.
If someone from bungie replies then I'll explain why this quote of "similiar pacing and feel" bothers me.
