Well, here we are. I guess that it was destined to come to this.

I have PM'ed DeeJ requesting his assistance and ruling on the matter (which would be final based on my understanding of our chain of command).
I don't know if he sits at his desk waiting for PM's (I know that I wouldn't, I've seen at least some of the studio and there are far more interesting places than sitting at YOUR desk).
But I suspect that sooner or later we may get a review and a ruling.
OP: this is and was an interesting exercise. By asking and having this exchange in open forum instead of traditional PM, we can show an example of the process and be as transparent as possible with this instance. I suspect that some of our fellow members were wondering if/how seriously we take these reports and our methods and reasoning for following through on them.
So for the ninja and the community, thanks for this opportunity to show that there is a method to how things work around here. Even if you don't like it, or it doesn't work the way that you want, we do have protocols and we do follow them.
Thank you, Recon. I'm glad we can tackle this issue and see to it that all people have to obey by the rules. Like the constitution says, all men are created equal.
I was able to thank you for allowing/encouraging for this to be done in the open. I am not congratulating you or predicting that (based on my current view of the situation and my experience on similar events in the past) that you are going to feel vindicated.
IMO, no rules were broken. A conversation occurred, the conversation became heated, some members took the heat personally, but I did not see anything that violated the letter or spirit of the "Things that suck" clause of the Code of Conduct.
But, you'll get your request to the last stage, I wish you luck and hope that no matter how it turns out, that people who need to learn from the outcome are willing to learn the lesson of this process.
