Subject: School Project (Halo: Cryptum)

So recently I've read Halo: Cryptum over the summer, and I have to make a book advertisement for it. The thing that I need help with is coming up with a creative theme, but for the love of my life I can't think of one. Can anyone give me a few good ideas.

By the power of truth, I, while living, have conquered the universe.

I think Cryptum is a bad choice for your project because it's a classical sci-fi book and full of complicated ideas, language and thematic implications.

I've personally made the Halo novels exempt from any critical literary analysis in my mind because I know that by the end of it I'll probably end up really disliking them.

For those who want to take the easy option, or are otherwise mentally impaired, yes Wolvers. ;)

Pfft, I kicked your arse at Literature GCSE. Could have done the same at A-level no sweat. 'sides, English Language students create literature - you just read someone else's brilliance and then yammer on about it.

The painter is remembered in history, not the curator who discusses it.

We should know better, because we are better.

Define creative theme. Is it an artistic theme to guide your project or is it the theme of the book itself?

If you're passionate about the thing you're talking about, I'll always lend an ear.

Just bring in the Scale and sizing of massive architectures. Advanced society, Alien races and structure.

Unraveling of a long lost society, a glimpse at ancient events that shaped the world today.

I think an ad for Cryptum is worthwhile.

A creative theme, eh? Could you, pehaps, be a little more specific?

And some background info on the advert as well. Why do you need it? What purpose will it serve? Why Halo: Cryptum?

These are the questions that need to be answered. What are you selling with the Ad? Look at it from a salesperson perspective also.

I understand nothing because my life is a conspiracy.

I don't think you should do it for a school project. I once read a Halo book for a project and my summery took up over 3 pages, and Cryptum is one of those books that cannot be summarized in a few paragraphs.

I came for Halo, but I heard the Tru7h, fought thru Carnage, and stayed for Bungie.

Maybe you should do your project on one of the fantastic "short" stories in Halo: Evolutions.
