Another gametype idea, what about a gametype that involves protecting a high ranking official that is relevant to your side? (Armaments would apply to Assassination only)
Humans: An Admiral or General (if armed, Battle Rifle)
Elites: An Honor Guard Captain (if armed, Plasma Rifle)
Brutes: A Prophet (if armed, Throne Cannon)
The person in question would follow a randomly chosen player around, making that person his/her personal bodyguard. If that player dies, a randomly chosen player must act as the bodyguard and link up with their leader and simply put, if the leader(s) (maximum of three) dies, the faction is eliminated from the game.
An easy way to prevent stupidity: Implement an auto-boot function that forces people to fight and play the game the right way or make the Leader shoot anybody that friendly fires excessively, and change the bodyguard.
Capture the Leader would behave just like Capture the Flag, with the object in question being an invincible person. The leader would be unarmed and if the leader was taken from the base, they would have to try to get him/her back by killing whoever took the leaders in the first place.
