-Hunted-
A game mode where you have to escort a certain person across the map to a certain spot while others try and defend it. Possibly to make the game more interesting, make it where everyone is a marine. No shields causing the game to not quite be a run and gun kind of thing. You would actually have to slowly move up.
There would be a series of checkpoints as you move up. This game type would probably cause maps to be completely re-arranged or made specifically for it. I could see it happening throughout parts of single player mabye.
-Base wars-
Each team would start out with a mostly destructable base. This would only be possible with a more advanced physics system. The goal would be to basically -blam!- the other base up as much as possible. Each base would have a locker room only accesible to that team with bombs inside. The amount of these bombs could be set. The goals would range from blowing their walls up, destroying the front door, "natural destruction" (think waterworks stalagmites), things of that sort.
This probably wont work, but its worth a shot.
-hog wars-
If bungie could implement an actually working demoliton derby type game style, that would be cool. Possibly if they throw in the civilian warthog, it wouldent have to much armor so it is vulnerable, but there isnt any firepower to it so no cheap shots like having a gunner in the back.
-Destroy all humans-
If bots are in the game, make them have a fortress of some sort, and we run in and destroy them. Containment would be an ideal map for this, just remove one base and have the other fortified a bit.
My only concern... to easy.
-Space wars-
If anyone has played the starwars game battlefronts 2, think space battle, only with seraphs and longswords...
Thats about all I can think of right now... most of these probably wouldent work out in actual gameplay or they would go to much out of the way to make them, but I am bored so... The huned one might have a chance though. I was probably not very detail specific, but I was just laying out basics.
Sorry if any have been mentioned. Ideas?
