Bungie said that they released this trailer and not an in game trailer this time around, because when the Halo 2 trailer came out in game, and then wasn't in the game people apparently complained about not being able to play it. So what if Bungie releases an in game trailer as downloadable content over the xbox live marketplace as the free level to get people to buy the game, sort of like what COD 2 did, except not an actualy in game level. They said they don't want to give out any ideas of the game until the whole thing comes out together...

Halo 3 (31st), ODST (14th) and Reach (4th) Mythic Conqueror. (Mythic is Solo, Legendary, All skulls on + scoring on and no deaths/saves).

UH? wha?

Please, can someone explain to me what the hell this person is trying to say?

The original trailer for halo 2 was PRE-RENDERED ie, done on a computer and not an xbox. While the Halo 3 trailer is REAL-TIME which means it was rendered by the hardware it is meant to be played on ie, the xbox 360.

real-time > pre-rendered, when it comes to game trailers.

The halo 2 trailer was more of an ingame trailer where you were fighting aliens, while the halo 3 trailer was technically ingame, but didn't have any real action like shooting or killing

The halo 3 trailer was completely ingame. In the recent EGM they even talked about a behind the scenes demonstration where they controlled master chief, walked to the cliff and structure, shot the assault rifle, experienced the lighting. It was phenomonal.

Writing Lead of Whisper Studios. Check out Heron!

Look... I'm on bungiepedia!

He wants something short and sweet, of the MC shooting a few Grunts, or maybe just playing on the re-done Coag..to see the sweet graphics (we all know MC, and Coag are coming back..and show us that new Warthog)

I actually like the idea. Kind of like a demo, right, Sir Topic Starter? That would be cool...it would give people a taste of what halo 3's gonna be like, but not a big taste. Just a light sample.

And so what if somebody steals ideas from the trailer? Bungie could always sue.
