They asked what I wanted to be when I grew up;
I wrote down happy.
They told me I didn't understand the assignment;
I told them they don't understand life. - John Lennon

We've lost a few over the years. I recall a BNet member died many years ago, and there were a few threads about it. He was a huge Bungie fan and IIRC he had even visited the studios. I'll search around and see if I can find that guy.
In more recent times, we lost a couple of guys who were personal friends of mine (and whom I had met in real life at PAX events) and really close with a lot of other folks here on BNet.
One of them was Logan Starline, a.k.a. "BerserkerBarage," who passed away in February 2010.
Another was Chris Brown, a.k.a. "DEATHPIMP72," who passed away in October of last year.
EDIT: The guy I remembered from earlier was Brian Morden, a huge Bungie fan and Bungie.org regular who passed away in 2003. So did the family information the OPs in those threads? Or did someone say (b.net user) your friend has passed. Confused on how people are informed when a member dies.
