ok. I have a television without a audio/video jack ie: the three pronged cable. I know i need to buy an RF modulator to put a surround sound system for my tv. but im wondering how i can use my xbox along with the surround sound, so i can use my tv, xbox, and surround sound together at the same time on the same channel.

Most surround sound speakers come with A/V jacks on the back, so you can just hook your Xbox up to the surround control machine, then it sends the visual to the TV, then the sound to the speakers.

If you are asking this because the three AV wires are close togther and you need to stretch them to 2 differnt locations you can very easily extend your A/V cables so they can reach farther locations. You need to buy 2 female to femals RCA couplers (2 being, one for left and right audio (white and red) then you need to get a plan RCA cable and hook one end into the coupler, and the other into your surround processor. But on another note, true surround sound isn't capable using RCA wire. For that you need Optical Cable, and to use that you have to get the XBOX High Def Connection Kit, but that is Component Video (RGB) not, composite (which is RCA) and I don't think you can get an RF modulator for that.....oh and one more thing, you don't really need an RF modulator, if you have a VCR that accepts video in (which most do) you can just plug your xbox into the VCR and then run the VCR to your TV
