That was just an Easter egg. He gets off Halo 04 before it gets destroyed, as per the Halo book series. Please read them.

Yes. Read the books. You don't have to buy it. Just pick up a copy in the library, sit down there, and read it without having to spend any money.

There were tons of black seargents in HaloCE so that could be any one and if it were he would be deaaad.

They cou;dn't come up with a good idea to answer all of those questions so they just made it into a joke and set it as classified.

Just like (for you RVB fans) Donut's "rescue" of the rest of the red team from Church and blue Simmons.

We'd just end up telling Johnson that "that was the longest story we've ever heard, also i don't think i bleieved a single word of it"

I am...whimsical today.

The story of how Jonson survives is in the Graphic Novel, and seeing as we do not have it yet I don't see how we can speculate on how it relates to the books (altho I'm gonna see what that update says to check I'm not talking balls). The Johnson-Elite embrace at the end of Halo:CE was an easter egg, just like the grunt sign in the teaser trailer, and the 'food nipple' grunt.

thats why the flood cant affect him, that has nothing to do with surviving 3,000,000,000 degree reactor overload, read the books more closely

well when i read the books (and i do this when i read just bout anything) i read that he of course got that syndrome and couldnt be affected by the flood. well to get of the swamp remeber sledgehammer was there to pick him up so there. but beond that use ur imaginatin. right as i read about the syndrome i put the book down and wrote how he sgot away and got to space in detail all in my head. so i have a certain version in my head about him escaping. just like i do a lot of unanswerd things.

A mythic member but I speak my mind to much.

Here is my theory on how Johnson Survived.

Gravemind nows how to use the transportation system that the monitors use, and I believe that Gravemind was on the first halo he just did not show himself to the player. I remember hearing on the level the Library the monitor said the had prepared your ship will talking to Master Chief. Why were the flood helping MC,because Gravemind knew he would not activate halo once he learned what it would do for Cortana. So back to the point Gravemind wants to help the human trying to prevent halo from bring activated, so right at the end of HALO CE maybe Gravemind transported both himself and Johnson off the Ring saving his life. He did not transport MC because he already had a sweet ride and flew away. Its possible.

It's an interesting theory, but the story of Johnson's survival will be in the Graphic Novel.

If you recall in the armory of halo 2, just after you get on the tram with sarge, the armory dude(master guns as sarge calls him) asks Johnson how he made it back in one piece, then johnson says thats classified. So yeah I guess they either didnt have the time or didnt want to bother with explaning how he made it.

how many times have people posted that exact statement? Enough, he was just asking a question, which is a good question might i add, because the books dont fully explain it.
