In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

I despise the idea of having to pay for something that is only limited to a specific thing, especially if it has to do with a sort of premium membership which grants "exclusive" benefits to something.

Interesting, so you are saying you don't like exclusive content. Do you feel that if some people had access to more features it would effect others as a whole? Even if the benefits are mostly cosmetic?

I kind of wanted to see if anyone would ever pay for anything that adds a cosmetic change to their forum appearance. It is evident that many people here have some sense.
No one's buying it, ken. Your track-record is on par with Hoobly's.
Hoobla is cool, don't hate. :(
His ideas are not.

My shit bacteria takes offense to that comparison.

Don't make me lel. You won't like me when I lel.

Nobody's buying this 'h-h-ha ha guys, j-just kidding' schtick ken, just admit you made another dumb thread and move on.

Ken, if you want to pay 7 bucks a month for things that can be earned and/or implemented in Bungie.next, that's all you.

lol, I wouldn't pay anything. Some people got really rustled from this thread and it was fun to watch, I wanted to see if anything would actually spend money for "Bungie Gold" and how they would justify it. I guess some people also didn't get the joke. (Does no one remember the facebook GOLD scam?).

You guys need to also re-evaluate some of the threads people make and take them with a grain of salt and realize not all of them are as "serious" as they initially appear. I thought that was evident too.

What tipped me off halfway was one of the users said "You'd enjoy that Ken, wouldn't you?" in regards to making 77 threads a day. ;)

I'm all fine and dandy with people making 'parody' threads (for lack of a better word), its just the threads that have horrible grammar in the OPs is when I begin question the intelligence of the human race.

And what is this facebook GOLD you speak of? It rings a bell, but I don't recall ever hearing about that.

Facebook gold was a scam people sent to dimwits that promised them more features.

I am sorry for my grammar, I wrote this at like 1:00 AM.

It is interesting to see no one wanted to spend anything to get anything additional on the forums. This thread is hilarious though (people taking everything too serious as usual). But you can look at this thread as doing several things if you look at things like the willingness to buy cosmetic features to community interactions to a satirical piece of content.

This should've been blatantly obvious as soon as you decided that you wouldn't.

Probably because A) People enjoy the site as it is and knows Bungie has improvements waiting in store and B) It may not be worth it to people to spend money on something that could be updated at any time and is pretty nice already.

I don't think you got the joke but it is okay, a lot of people didn't get it either. But you people can understand paintjob batmen and #Dragons.

I was intrigued not one of you wanted any features you had to pay for. Even with how much people want things here.

There was no joke to get. You made a stupid thread with no implied sarcasm or obvious or even subtle hints towards a joking nature.

Take some notes, wait a while, and try again.

paintjob batmen and #DragonsI hated the former and the latter is so obviously a joke that if you don't get it you most likely should not be given access to the Internet.

lol

- 77 threads a day
- facebook and Twitter integration
- $7.77 a month

You had to of known this wasn't that serious, who is gonna make 77 threads a day? Doesn't everyone hate Facebook and Twitter? I really can't believe I had to spell it out for you, I thought it was obvious.

This brings up another point of the thread, bias. You are so quick to complain about this thread while other users make joke threads about #Dragons and other such things.

- Facebook and Twitter integration

That's probably going to happen anyway.

-Blue text

Wouldn't that be hard to read on a black background?

-Exclusive avatar

Would be nice but not worth paying for.

- Exclusive title bar

Same as above.

- Bungie.net email

Unless it's got something unique to it that most free e-mails don't have then no, not worth paying for.

Ken, you're the only user in this thread who finds it remotely funny, essentially defeating the purpose of it being a joke.

Taking it apart as if it were a serious thread is far more entertaining to everyone else.

I figured 77 threads was just a way to say that you would be allowed more than 7, or basically unlimited.

Lots of people like Facebook and Twitter. There's a big Helveck thread about users who have twitters.

On the price, I wouldn't be surprised. Your ideas have just been bad enough in the past that this wouldn't surprise me.

You, Ken. You would make 77 threads. You would make 77 threads and they would all be about swag bags.

Was the price too much? What would make any kind of additional service would make a charge acceptable?

I understand nothing because my life is a conspiracy.

Maybe if you purchase Bungie Pro when it comes back, you could get a nameplate for your title bar that says "PRO" or something.

Tru7h. C4RN4GE. Bungie.

This site encourages playing Bungie's games. So they make money indirectly but it is a valuable community. I prefer rewarding long time members for activity. A Pro service for this site would be silly.

No. Paying money for features is a bad idea in general. Very bad idea.

I pay money to BZpower. TBH though, if no one payed them, the website would have to be taken down,

I think you're the only one who wants to get payed features, to get above everyone else. I smell elitism.

I've seen this before, if everybody hates your idea, you turn it into "it was a joke, you don't get it".
