Because the banning system is not built to do otherwise.

Should it? Probably.

Yup. That makes sense. Someone gets a 3-day for derailing a thread, so they don't deserve any of their posts they've ever made ever again ever.

Posted by: CrazzySnipe55He's just referring to the post you were banned for, not all of your posts. I.e. one of my sarcastic threads gets me banned, that thread's gone forever since I was banned for it. It makes sense; why should I continue to gain satisfaction from the thread if it was made purely for dickery?

Stupidity, when sufficiently advanced, is indistinguishable from magic

Why would you need to see a post you've been banned for? You're the one that posted it so you should know what it was.
You obviously haven't been to the Waypoint forums. It sucks.

If a post is so terrible that people shouldn't be suffered to see it, then they either delete the post or perma-ban the individual.

Can't mods delete you're post.
Or perhaps you can clean up your own mess after the ban expires.

Simple, some tards use multiple accounts to log reports ... which the mods feed off, and as a reward ban the OP and/or lock the thread.

So you get a ban, the reason being based on a post you can no longer see. How stupid is that ?!?

Be like the police busting you for a crime, and then hiding the details or even basic reason for your arrest. Only after you have been sentenced and served the time do you find out what the supposed crime was.

Guess thats one of the many things which make bungie.net great.
also scores the award for the most locked threads.
