According to my Level Design teacher, we all suck at level design (my class), although he used a lot nicer words, that was essentially the boiled-down verdict.
For homework, we were told to study a multiplayer map, and identify the different gameplay elements, how they fit together, and how this affected the map as a whole. I, being an avid Halo player, of course chose to pick a Halo map. It had to be Halo Reach as to stay relevant to modern gameplay, and I chose my favorite map: Tempest, from the Noble Map Pack.
Summed up in one or two sentences, what would you say the goal, or mission statement, of Tempest was?
