Bungie is done with Halo. They are open to criticize their work and alterations and continuations of it appropriately.

Still haven't heard anything poor from Bungie. The negativity is hearsay from a man who was the face for a developer that tanked after being presented with an IP they didn't want. Understandably, his outlook on the situation would make him blame the other developer.

However, if his statements are true, could you blame Bungie? Their IP they worked so hard on was ripped from their grasp to Micro$oft's clutches. The entire situation was unfavorable for both developers.

ES went belly-up after being forced into using an IP they didn't make or want, and Bungie had their IP used on a title they didn't create. Both devs could understandably be unhappy about the situation.

I don't think it's our business on how Bungie feels about what is happening to Halo. It is, both fortunately and unfortunately, no longer their burden to bear. Sure, as fans of the series themselves, I imagine they share our sentiments that series is ill-fated, but we should also support them in their new project(s).

tl;dr Of course they're upset about Halo's future, but I think we shouldn't worry about that. Just keep supporting Bungie.

Anyone but Foman. He smells like cheese.

I think it's unfair of you to call this "a comment from Bungie." Don't forget that this is one outsider's impression of another person's feelings, transposed onto the entire company, and, as he admits, potentially inaccurate as well.

This was discussed in this thread. Not sure who locked the other thread, but I think it's reasonable to assume that Bungie is not going to respond to this here. If they want to respond, it will be in something more official than a forum post.
