Nine days from now, as of this posting, is my birthday.

Please tell me what I should get. (I didn't put Windows Vista/H2PC as an option because my father already said he would get it.)

Ask for an über hot chick with a big a- oh wait you're too young for that. Damn! I can't change my vote.

Okay really, I think you should get that PCI-E card so you can up your vid card. If you have a 6600 then maybe a new GPU. Dunno your comp.

I've already got über hot pwning skills, why would I want a chick?

My PC's CPU is an Intel Pentium IV Processor with 3.20 GHz, so I think it can handle a GeForce 7800 without bottlenecking it.

7800? wow, beats my 5900.

Stupid parents let their stupid children play games that are rated M when they should be playing Big Birds Spelling Adventures

Also the AR is actually good in CQB now and no longer a glorified baseball bat.

I would reccomend asking for GRAW for your 360. It's an awesome game.

I'd get a socket AM2 motherboard...or Intel 975x chipset based mobo.

But that's just me.

I already do have everything required for Vista. Recommended actually.

I have Intel Pentium IV Processor with 3.20 GHz, one gigabyte of RAM, a DVD+R/RW drive, and a GeForce 6600 AGP. All I need is a better GPU, I believe.

The zBoard, your most lethal weapon. It's basically a keyboard designed for PC gaming.

PCI-E is the latest computer bus that utilizes all the newest, hottest graphics processor units on today's market. I use AGP, which is an older bus. If I get PCI-E, I can get all the newer GPUs, up to the GeForce 7950. :D

I'm thirteen, I was born in 1992. Eight days from now is my birthday.

If you don't have a PCI-Express motherboard, you should definetly go for that. PCI and AGP are dead.

The bungie.net community is the halo PC community that is renowned for being unbelieveably sucky.

Get the HD-DVD add on drive for your xbox360!

Besides the usual stuff you listed, I recommend a Sound Blaster X-fi. It makes everything sound much better, even on my cheap dell speakers. CMSS-3D also gives you somewhat of an edge in games.

Make sure the rest of your computer is pretty fast too, because there's been reports of cracking sound on poor systems.

Ask for some Halo action figures. They look cool around your monitor.

Agreed. It's a fun game. Failing that, I just got a 2GB iPod for Father's Day. I'm having a blast with it.

However, I loaded all my albums (CCR, Foreigner, Styx, Moody Blues, Bob Seger, etc) and I still have like, 1.5 GB left. I don't know what to do with all this space!

Download the Red vs Blue episodes into them, then listen to the audio, close your eyes, and imagine seeing Caboose and Tucker at each others throats.

Hmm, an HD-DVD player for my Xbox 360 does sound quite nice... if I had an HDTV to begin with.

Both the PC and the 360 versions of GRAW are both excellent and have received high ratings and reviews, and they each have their own ups and downs. However, the PC version's multiplayer is somewhat lacking, compared to the varied gametypes and fun that can be had on the 360's version on XBL. And my computer can't handle GRAW to its fullest potential, so I suppose it would be better to get the 360 version. The only thing I'm upset about is that in first person mode you can't even see your own gun in front of you in the 360 version.

A 2GB iPod Nano can't play video files. That is, not unless I reformat it with iLinux, which I'm deciding against, as that voids the warranty.
