Dude, are you like a spam bot and all you can say is hopeless? For Christ's sake! You are infectious. How many times am I going to have to repeat myself. Move on from breast feeding! Seriously, don't take that's an offense. Get a more proactive attitude, and maybe, just MAYBE (and that is a MAYBE with a push), people will take you seriously.

Well, seen as you are a little slow, I'll make this post as clear as it can be:

I read your idea, didn't like it. If you have a problem with that, sue me. Your idea is pointless, and ADDS NOTHING useful to the Halo series other than some dumb eye candy. It would get old and tiring quickly, not to say repeatitive. So, before you reply to this, consider this...

When NASA ships their cameras into space to snap pictures of celestial bodies, they trust Duracell.

P.S.: The madness!

Even though I do not agree with what you just said about me and believe it to be an attempt to sound intellectual. I won't persue this any more here. Just one thing though..and I do apologize for this... I usually do not react the way I did. I did make a rude comment, I'll repeat myself only one more time. I said them because I was irritated that a comment was made by you and others that was already addressed in my original post. This shows me it wasn't read completely. That's it. Let's move on now.

Me, intellectual? Funny I hear that twice in a day. I guess watching Sesame Street really is helping to grow into a better man! Someday, I want to be just like my dad!

P.S. i: Oh! The madness Strikes Back...

Anyway, no offense taken, dude.

P.S. ii: Intellectual: Noun; a smartass! Burn! Burn!

This is an idea that I never cared for, so I voted against it.

Ignoring all the stupidity in this thread, I'll just focus on the idea. It's a very good idea, one I'd love to see in a game. But after thinking about it, I came to the conclusion I wouldn't want that game to be Halo 3. Despite all differences, in the end it'd just end up replacing the one-hit assassination. It may look cooler and have a different purpose, but in essence, it'd be the same thing.

However, I'd love to see it in another game, maybe one with different classes that all differ, so smaller classes could have the option to weaponjack the stronger classes, since they wouldn't have direct access to the strongest weapons that they need to take down the stronger ones.

But not in Halo. Sorry.

Note: This idea eliminates one-hit assasinations. This is necessary in order for it to have reason.

You lost me at this bit. I wouldn't be prepared to sacrifice a defining element of Halo for a new gimmick.

RF LooseWires, you have a really great idea going there! When I first read it through I was kind iffy about it, my feelings were to keep it simple. But, I read it again and after taking your advice and thinking about how a confrontation would turn out I started to realize how awesome it could be. I don't think this has been mentioned but not only does it offer you choices in combat, but it gives the one being assassinated a chance to come out of the battle alive. I feel that some people are afraid, especially those who only have kills on there mind and not on fun gaming, because it would have to force them to step up there game instead of taking an easy kill. Good Job!

I'd love harming my enemies to death with butt strokes. XD

Its a good idea..but not for Halo. Personally, I find it far more satisfying to just simply smash the back of my oppenents skull in with just the simple push of the B button than watch some over the top fight sequence thing. Really, good idea, just not here.

that would probably be a good idea but not going to hapen this is a shooter game not a cop chase besides it would probably be to hard for bungie to put in it would take to much time off of them doing that than working on the story itself.

I DO like one part of the idea. That is, an assassination is no longer an instant kill. That would remove a lot of the frustration from the game that is currently present when a person lunges and goes through and then get sassasinated. But I've never liked the idea of stealing weapons. Seems pretty retarded to me.

This idea is kinda good but i think it would be better for it to exist only in multy player and if it does exist the motion traker should be improved 2 {a faint dot on the radar when u are not moving } but again it wouldf be a little spliner cell like i u could just sneek up on a playerr}!!!!!
You have got brain mate keep thinking!!!!!!!

To make things more fun and interesting. What would you prefer? A simple thwack to the back? Or taking an extra second or two to rip the gun from their hands and paints the walls red with their blood, from the gun they were holding less than a second ago?
