Qft, OmniosSpartan, and this is why I keep telling you guys that sniping in Halo 2 PC will actually take skill.
In H2 Xbox, since it's pretty clear that you didn't know it already, DC Spartan, there is auto-aim, which helps players aim because they're playing on the Xbox gamepad. In the original Halo for the Xbox, there's some auto-aim as well. In Halo PC, there is no auto aim because people (smart people anyways) play with the mouse and keyboard, which is much easier to aim with than a controller. They will also take auto-aim out in H2PC, so it will take more skill.
Besides, even if the sticks he pulled off were a form of cheating, it's done on an Xbox. An Xbox and a PC are two totally different things. It's like you can standby a game of Xbox Live, but you can't do it on a computer.
Sniping takes absolutely no skill, recently I played a game of Team Snipers on Beaver Creek, and I got 19 kills... most of them headshots... Heck, I shot four bullets in a row, all of them headshots, so I got a "headshottacular".
Don't get me wrong, Halo 2 takes skill to a certain degree, and then it's just a matter of who gets the sniper rifle, the rocket launcher, the shotgun, and/or the sword before the enemy can.
H2PC won't be as noobified, hopefully.
Also, I've been wanting to see Rippon's Halo 2 montage, but I didn't expect to see it on YouTube. He's a Halo gaming god. Anybody see his Combat Evolved montage?
