Just downloaded it......
And wow, it's probably the best mod out there. It basically takes Halo 1's campaign and puts Halo 2 weapons and textures into it. The animations are 100x than the average mod too.

It's changed all the weapons. The Assault Rifle is better, there's a new silenced SMG, a Battle Rifle with a grenade launcher, a chain gun......Just go download it, foo'.

I copied my completed Halo 1 profile and put it into Halo CE, so I have all the levels unlocked....I've played a bit on all of them and they all are great.

It is great, I noticed a glitch a couple places in the first few levels however.

1. when making a marine exit a turret, he re-appears on top and gets stuck there.

2. with the sniper rifle, in DX7, the scope is invisible, allowing me to see through the wepon model.

3. sounds such as dropship movements continue even after you destroyed the vehicle. This is annoying in levels like Halo, where there are numourus dropships and I am unable to tell where they are coming from.

4. Shotgun reloading. The gun sways, and I like that, but it sways so much, when moving and reloadning, the MC's hand and gun reload animation are seperate and do not move together, also, there is a slight lag in the movement of the Chief's hand on the pump and the pump moving.

I do not mean to be negative, but the first and third sort of effect my gameplay, but overall Is quite possibly one of the best mods I have ever played.

I forgot i had to uninstall Halo CE (computer issues) and now when i went to redownload it...i cant find my stupid cd holder with the cd key in it....it wont let me download halo CE without it :( *searches frantically*

It is people like you that make people like me need medication.

Those are minor though.

There are some bugs but those will be fixed they said. The big ones being the lack of details when it tells you to do an action and the save bug.

Over all for as ambitious as the mod is, that is not bad at all.

I love the new additions. I do also have to say that they way they handled Vehicle Damage is how it should have been in halo 2. I hated having vehicles blow up almost right away in Halo 2. I really hope Bungie borrows a few ideas from it. LOL

the string key and the saving bug will be fixed. The reason why this happened without it showing up before is because when we locked down the maps, so people could not rip from them, it corupted tags the game needs. I will look into fixing the dropship and marines in the turret bug.

I'd just like to say this is like...the best thing EVER. The only downside I see to it so far, the spartans are kinda..."not the sharpest tools in the shed" I was playing Truth and Reconsiliation and at the middle of the part on your way to the ship they kinda thought it would be funny to throw a grenade in the middle of a group of them @.@

I'm not raining on CMT's parade, but I don't see what the big deal is. I'm not doubting the amount of effort they put into it, but it's not going to do anything big for me, like make me not buy H2 PC.

OOoh I hate that sound of after engines of vehicles like banshees and that, I dont really destroy dropships so I dont think ill have a problem, I just hide and ambush. Also, right now I have only 2 missions done, pillar of autum and Halo, Ill try and get some more later.

Question! To play the campaign maps with the mod, do you have to download the main menu CMT thing too?

Somethings not right, I placed the maps I needed for campaign, pillar of autum to silent cartographer, I have the main menu download up, I have all files placed on the CE maps directory, I cut all the files from my documents to the CE maps directory and when I go on to CE to play the campaign, the mod isnt there, can someone help?
